D-Link N150 DAP-1155

Excellent product - Inexpensive and effective – I've used two of these with no problems. The first was as an access point to connect a WDTVLive to my wireless router. This second was for a similar role elsewhere. They are effective and inexpensive, and simple to use. I retired them recently when I installed a router with a gigabit switch, which gives better network bandwidth than WiFi with 600mbps powerline equipment. I still have both DAP-1155s in case I need them. I bought them from Officeworks.

Terrible product – Theres a macro that helps you set up the access point but after about 20 mins it disconnects from ipads/ipods etc etc. Changing the ip address makes no difference when installed with a netgear main router. The only good thing is that it cost 50 bucks so its cheaper for me to put the 1155 in the garbage than drive to town It doesnt work as advertised. Instructions are useless. Theres nothing plug and play about it at all
