Affordable garbage – I've had one since it was on special at Dick Smith 3 or 4 years ago. I'd had experience with Belkin and other routers, and few problems, but couldn't get this to work at all without three calls to support, who eventually told me that, though it had 11 potential channels in the setup, only one actually worked -- the one I hadn't considered trying.

That got it going.

I did a manual set up as this actually seemed less difficult than the automatic set up using rather convoluted setup screens.

Over succeeding months, I had ongoing problems with it assigning the same IP address to more than one attached device. Eventually I resolved this by setting IP addresses on everything I could manually.

Then it began dropping out regularly, The only real solution is turning it off, leaving it for a while, and turning it back on. This can confuse my printer, so it often means turning that off and back on as well. Before I wired the printer permanently, and only used it wirelessly, I had to unplug the printer completely and reset the network connexion by hand. A nuisance when doing tomorrow morning's hand-outs at 2am...

All the lights indicate that it is working fine, even when it patently is not!

I keep firmware up to date.

A distinct nuisance! Neat case, looks like it would work. Reasonable speed when it is going. Irritatingly regular drop-outs, convoluted set-up wizard, it tells lies about its connexion status.

Bit unreliable – We bought this on the advice of the OfficeWorks sales man. I wish we had bought another product now. We use the wireless network for our phones and a netbook - and it drops out several times a day. We used to have our PC connected to it, but due to the drop puts we now connect directly. As other reviewers say - you need to reset it pretty regularly. Quite a few of our friends have difficulty getting wifi while at our house.

Was not inexpensive either. Had to get an IT professional friend of ours trouble shoot it - I am not IT illiterate, but I could not work it out!

Settings are a bit tricky, drops out several times a day. Often requires a hard reset.

Excellent – At a very affordable price, the D-Link Wireless N Router DIR-615 makes a great entry-level Wireless-N router and would satisfy most situations where a wireless network is needed. Excellent product, I have been using this product for almost 3 years without any dramas. Decent Wireless-N performance and it cost me only $65 at local computer shop (brand new)• Responsive and intuitive web interface. Nothing that I can think of

Terrible – This router is a total piece of garbage, do not buy no matter how cheap it is. Dick Smith Powerhouse would not refund as I lost the receipt even though only one month old. Salesman admits unit is garbage. Have to unplug power and reconnect every time I use it otherwise wireless connection fails. Drops out a lot.
