Scam!!!! – What a scam!!! This company was not even affiliated with the restaurant I ordered from. Got there and no such order! Tried calling their "customer service" yeah right.....just rings and rings and of course the voicemail box is full so you are not able to leave a message.

Bunch of thieves - never again – Ordered some chinese food which never showed up. Rang the restaurant but no answer there. Tried the Hero Hotline for help but was on hold forever. Have sent e-mails and tried phoning Delivery Hero but no response to e-mails and still on hold forever. Never got the food, intend to lodge a dispute with my payment provider.

Poor Customer Service – Charged twice for an order on my credit card. No response to emails or phone calls. Will not use or recommend delivery hero again. The service is non-responsive.

Indian for dinner – Just ordered Indian for dinner and this was perfect! Fiancé and I didn't want to drive so we used your service for the first time :) it was great! Granted it took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive but when we order Indian normally it takes half an hour anyways so I'm really impressed! Thank you so much :)

Great service – Use the app regularly, never had any issues. I suppose you have to remember that delivery hero are not the actual restaurant and just an ordering platform... Read the individual reviews on each restaurant!!  Show reply

Great – Really great when they give out vouchers and you live in an area that has many stores willing to deliver. App could use better filter and show delivery fee without having to click on the store and select more.  Show reply

Worst experience ever! – Ordered on the Dec 20th, food never arrived. Rang restaurant, they said Delivery Hero never passed on my order or my $31.50. I had to pay again with COD, 2hrs later. Emailed complaint and request for refund to Delivery Hero. No reply. Dec 21st tried to phone Delivery Hero, put on hold forever. So I have created a dispute with my payment provider against Delivery Hero.

NEVER AGAIN!! Thieves - Order number #1612151811246 – I placed an order Thursday the 15th money was taken ($100) but restaurant didn't get my order. company has gone belly up and all these orders placed are now lost and the money will never be returned. I suggest everyone who has experienced report this to the authorities perhaps with numbers we can do something about this.

December 20th 2016 Update: I GOT A REFUND

To anyone who has lost money or has not received a refund i suggest doing what i did and contacting the CEO [name removed] via linked in. I was quite pleasantly surprised that he responded the next day. An hour later i was contacted by one of his Service support staff who arranged to have my money refunded which was a couple of days ago. I received the money today so i wanted to wait until i had received the refind before posting. Delivery Hero is being taken over by Foodora so they are running on skeleton staff at the moment hence the long wait times on the phones and no replies via emails.

Took money and received nothing! – Orders food at local Thai restaurant. After two hours I rang the restaurant to chase up. They couldn't get through to Delivery Hereos so I called them and I was also put in hold. Email sent. No response. No food. And no refund as yet.

Took my money but no food! – I placed on order on Dec 15 but the restaurant did not get the order, yet my CC was still charged by Delivery Hero. I called 3 times and waited on hold for over an hour each time but nobody answered. I have left voicemail messages, facebook messages, and emails that have all gone unanswered. DO NOT order through Delivery Hero!

Didnt get our food – Weve used them 4 or 5 times over 6 months. The most rcent tiem though, they took our money, the restaurant says they never recieved the order, delivery hero wont answer the phone. I wont be using again.

never got my order room the $115 – ordered food a week ago paid $115 it never came. i have been calling every day, leaving messages and being on hold for 3 and a half hours still have not gotten through so over this never ever again

Shocking – Received SMS that order went through and time for delivery. All paid and waiting. For nothing. Restaurant hung up on me twice when I tried to see what happened. Finally they told me they didn't get order and it had been happening for days! No response from Dellivery Hero on their site or their phone centre. Shocking.....especially when money has gone through. Do not use them. Still waiting to see if I get my money back!

Worst customer service of my life! – Ordered food at 9pm, expecting it to arrive around 10. Its now currently 12:03am I've been on hold for AN HOUR AND A HALF. Messaged all their social media with no response. I'm angry, hungry and need to be awake in 5 hours. Its just not good enough.

No food, no answer – Food was ordered more than two hours ago. Called the restaurant, they did not receive my order. Cooked my own dinner. Have been on hold for over an hour listening to their promise to "be with you soon" in an attempt to get a refund. Been on hold for 77 minutes. Food ordered 2 hours and 17 minutes ago – We ordered, they did not tell the restaurant but took the money. An hour later I called and have been on hold since. They sent a confirmation too.

Never using this service again – On December 7th my partner and I ordered over $40 worth of Thai food that never arrived. Later we found out that the restaurant never received our order. We have tried to contact customer service via phone etc with zero luck. Order no. 1612072111422 I want my money back.

show up. then when people try and contact them, they keep them in their queue system for hours without answering, do not answer emails and their customer chat facility on their website does not work. It's rumored they are to be going out of business but they still taking peoples money. Hope my issue is investigated. I have lodged a complaint with N.S.W Fair Trading and talkback radio is onto them.

Worst customers service and system ever – They hold our payment that customer have paid for more than 4 month! we have been emailed them countless time but no reply back, and been calling so many time but never solve the problem. and we still have our money with them for more than $200!!!

Worst delivery app! – Every time i make an order through delivery hero, after I do the payment and everything they say "Sorry your order could not completed" and they start receiving calls from 2pm which is too late! Will never order through them again!!

Peking Moon – The worst chinese food I have ever had in my life. The sweet n sour pork was inedible. The fried rice was steamed rice with I don't know what on top. The lemon chicken was horrible. Do yourself a massive favour & NEVER order anything from rhis restaurant. Everything was horrible!

Took our payment twice and no delivery – Monday 26/9 placed an order. Go to submit and it says we can't process at this time. Attempted a second time same message came up only to find out that they had taken not one but two $45 payments from our card and the order hadn't gone through to the restaurant. Eventually find a phone number through Google and called them only to have the call go off shore to the Phillipines where they couldn't care less and just kept offering a credit voucher. We don't want $90 of credit vouchers we want our money back. Two days later we still haven't had a refund. We were told that they would email us with the reference numbers for the refund and yet again NOTHING. BE WARNED DO NOT USE DELIVERY HERO AND LET EVERYONE KNOW

they have taken my money and keep telling me to contact the restaurant for a refund, I will no longer be using them but just ringing restaurant directly.

Incompetence! – Don't bother using this service (or lack of service). I would recommend ordering directly with a restaurant and not going through a company like delivery hero. There's more chance of your order being stuffed up and you're still waiting for your food 2 hours later. I'll never use this company again!

Do Not Order From Delivery Hero – DO NOT ORDER FROM DELIVERY HERO. I would give a zero or even a negative star if that was possible. Placed and order at 6.25 pm, said to arrive at 7.21pm. ITS 8.20pm and am still holding the line to the company ('the order did not get to the restaurant'). Sent a Facebook message, nothing works. TOOK MY MONEY, NO FOOD, NO RESPONSE, absolutely the worst.

Raw indian – I ordered a few chicken dishes from sangha tandoori palace and was absolutely disgusted , the chicken was completely Raw ! that they never got an order from delivery hero. I have been trying to call their 'customer service line' and even after 30 minutes, I still can't get through. Their 'live online chat' doesn't work either.

Delivery Hero - Don't pretend to offer a service when you can't. Give me back my money that you charged me. It might be the only thing in the process you got 'right' but if you don't provide the service you promise, then it's just plain robbery.

Terrible delivery times – I have ordered food more than ten times. I never got it on time. Minimum 15 minutes late and maximum 1.5 hours late. When I asked the delivery guy about the late, he don't even bother to care.

Very late delivery however customer service ok – Booked dinner and was advised 1 hour for the meal. They need an era based on other orders as I would never have ordered. Waited an hour and ten. Called the (lovely) customer service number... They had to hang up in order to find our meal but called back to advise our meal was 5 mins away. Our meal arrived half an hour later. Not sure where the blame lay but will never use again.
