Terrible – Great concept, poor execution. I haven't returned it to the company because I don't want a replacement. I'll buy another brand as replacement. Loved the Design concept, reversable plates. Clips do not hold in the plates properly. My plate warped after just a few uses. Fat dripped onto the element and caused the circuit breaker to trip. Very poor application of a potentially great design. Reading the temperature setting during cooking is not easy because of condensation.

Terrible – My query on the grill was whether it would get hot enough to cook steak. I spoke to Delonghi who said it heated to 160 degrees and I was dubious as to whether that was hot enough, but was assured it was. So, I only tried it for cooking steak, and it was definately not hot enough (and I had preheated it until the lights went out on MAX). Didn't even get a sizzle out of the steak when placed on the griddler. Didn't try it for anything else, so it may be fine for other functions - I returned it to the store. Purchased it because I loved the design and concept - particularly the reversible plates to enable both pancakes and steak. Not hot enough for steak.
