DéLonghi D61GW

Good value for money!! – I have had a deLonghi D61GW for maybe 5 years now and found it to be a nice cooker, albeit the oven is "cool" by maybe 20deg (measured by thermocouple). Very few ovens have accurate regulators/thermostats I have found. The gas cook-top is very functional and easy to clean, as are the sliders and trays in the oven. Good value for money!! Easy to clean. Nothing much

Poor quality oven – We bought a De longhi oven believing it to be a reliable brand, however we were extremely disappointed especially considering how much we paid. When the oven was first delivered I noticed that the oven door was screwed on crooked and when I opened it, it scratched the side of the oven. The grill tray was also crooked and did not fit onto the telescopic poles very well. It seemed that either the telescopic poles or oven racks were crooked. I rang De longhi, they sent out a representative from another company. The person who came out refitted the door so that it wasn't crooked but did nothing about the scratches. I was also told that there was nothing that could be done about the crooked shelving. I rang De Longhi once again and explained what happened. The person I spoke to was very unfriendly and dismissive, he did offer to send someone else out. The new representatives looked at the crooked shelving and said they woud order replacements. I didn't hear back from them and had to keep calling them myself only to be told that they were still waiting for the parts. Eventually after about two months I recontacted Delonghi. They sent out new shelving, but that too didn't fit properly. Eventually it was concluded that the interior of the oven was crooked and they finally sent a replacement oven. Looks stylish and modern Very difficult to clean.
