DeLonghi DE91PYROS

Delonghi - Premium name but inferior product and service – This oven was recommended by Bing Lee along with a 90cm Delonghi Gas Cook Top. You would expect reliability and quality from a high profile brand name such as Delonghi - not the case here..... The oven racks gets jammed if you try to take them out hence scratching and chipping the enamel, chipped enamel will eventually turn to rust!!! The other issue with this oven is it cooks unevenly.
I contacted Delonghi Service AGWS who attended on the 13/8/2014, the service man took photos of the chipped enamel and wrote up a report on his I Pad, he advised that the report will be emailed to Delonghi the next day and it will be up to them to consider and get back to me.
As Delonghi failed to contact me a month later I decided to call them for an update, to make a long story short I contacted Delonghi Service over 15 times between 13/8/2014 and 14/1/2015 - got the run around and got promised that the service manager will contact me but it was all delay tactics in the end.
Finally on 14/1/2015 they promised to exchange the oven for an updated model, I'm hoping that it will take place in a timely fashion but I wouldn't be surprised if I face more issues going forward.
So Six Months later Delonghi Australia decided to make a move - in my books it is not acceptable as I now lost 6 months warranty from a defective product - would I ever buy another Delonghi product or advise my family / friends to buy one, well you know the answer to that!!!
Not sure about Mile or Bosh, I wish I bought one of those now, it pays to do your home work before you visit any retailer - don't take their word as they are sales men and whom ever is paying more commision on the day is what they will advise you to buy.
