Function Switch problem – Bought the oven at a closing down sale for a really good price. It was sitting in my garage for 12 months until I had the kitchen modified so it could fit in. Finally got it installed and just after the 2 year warranty period expired the function switch died so could not heat the oven up. Even though it was out of warranty it was replaced free of charge. The same thing happened about 3 or so months later and again the local repair agent again replaced it free of charge even though they should have charged us for the callout. It has just broke again but there is little chance of it being replaced again free of charge. There is usually a two or three week wait once contacting the repair agent to getting the part replaced. The repair agent has been exceptional in there service but it should be up to Delonghi to fix this reoccurring problem. I will never again buy a Delonghi oven if it just keeps breaking every few months. I have to say though that when the oven is working we are very happy with it. Plenty of room and price. Seems to break every three months.

Forget it, poor service – I am in the middle of the third time trying to fix the oven - the function switch doesn't work. Would be a simple problem to fix if DeLonghi had proper service systems. This time telling me it will take 3 months before the part is in Australia. They have poor systems so can't track anything, time of part arrival keeps changing....so here I am with two children under age of 5 trying to feed them without an oven for 3 months and in-laws arriving for Christmas from Chile as well as having 30 people to my house for Christmas.

oh and did I mention that this has happened last year as well and took 6 months to fix

bad warranty service

Poor build quality – After 10 months of family use fan noisy, food burned on one side of the oven,hinges make a cracking noise when used, then the oven stopped working, DeLongh'is repair agent identified following needs replacement: Oven door hinges (2) Cavity cooling fan Cooking fan Thermisters (2) Cook top OK, but some of the burners to small Apart from above, oven gets too hot to touch, even the control dials
