Pros: Looks/style, speed in cooking, controls, flexibility in cookware.
Cons: Would mind if the larger induction ring was at the front as most of the cooking is done on it.
Overall: Having been a asian chef in my past life (15 years ago) and having lived with a ceramic stove for the last 15, I dearly missed the commercial gas burners.
There is nothing like a gas buner when it comes to wok cooking, but this induction cooker is the best thing to get that high/searing and sustained heat required for cooking things like vegies and seafood. If you don't get that heat, the food quickly lets all the liquid out andyou just can't get the flavours charring and browning against the food.
The Delonhi also has two ceramic rings, so you have great flexibility in using your special pots (especially earthen pots for cooking the odd "hot-pot").
One new feature I love if the 99min.timer. Neverhad that before on a cooktop.
You can put something on to steam for 15mins. and don't have to worry about overcooking.
Look and feel and great too.
