exploding oven door – had a Delonghi 900 mm DMFPS90II electric oven for a while. was working very well until a couple of months ago. while cooking a roast, the outer glass of the door exploded, and shattered. there was no one nearby, except for my wife in the kitchen. the internal glass remained intact. I had never experienced any similar incident with any other oven. does any one have explanation?. trying to get a replacement door proved impossible

I hate this oven! I have had this for years and from day one I have hated it – Nothing in this oven works correctly. I have to watch whatever I am cooking like a hawk. The clock frustrates the heck out of me. The user manual is useless. I am a pensioner and I cannot afford another oven. Being a pensioner does not mean I am stupid, I am very intelligent but this oven is just the worst one ever and makes me so angry.  Show details

Hate this oven don't buy it – Purchased from new and problems from the start. Noisy fan, poor seal, rubbish temperature gauge. Three call outs, told it was working fine! Cooks meat well but if baking is your thing definitely not worth considering.

The worst Oven – The temperature control is absolutely terrible. I have had to buy an oven temp gauge to put into the oven to give me an accurate guide. When using high temps for searing at the end of the cooking cycle nothing happens. The oven selector dials are also very confusing requiring us to refer to the Owners Manual each time we use the oven. The size is very good.

Terrible – Never DeLonghi,ever again. Now plan to pull this oven out and spend thousands of dollars on a replacement. Plus we have to replace the damaged kitchen cabinets around the oven. cooked unevenly, recipes which say 45mins take 20mins due to the oven being uncontrollably hot. Burns food. Door doesn't close properly, so surrounding kitchen doors have been burnt and need replacing.

Dreadful Oven – This oven is useless. Several service calls and the oven still turns itself off all the time when it gets too hot which means operating at above 225 for longer than 30 minutes. Fan is inconsistenlty noisy, seals are falling off and the cooking temperature does not appear to be what it is set at. After 3 years of this I am now looking for a replacement!!!! Continuous operating issues
