Hard to test unit as the window adaptors are European - and too small to fit Aussie windows – Received the PAC A100 unit - it came with a window adaptor and flexible hose. The window adaptor was smaller than standard Aussie windows - need an extension, and the hose was all of 1 metre long - only useful if your window is at floor level - most are NOT. Contacted Delonghi - they were not willing to provide better adaptors - I have to buy extra parts myself - for an already expensive unit ....

Terrible – I would not buy any Delonghi product again because the service after the purchase was terrible. You have to keep on phoning and this is after we spent nearly $700 for this portable ac. For spending that sort of money, they should atleast try to fix the problem (water leaking) asap. Instead the company directed us to the repair people, who ofcourse were closed for several weeks during the holiday period. So, we had to wait in the hot weather while we had paid good money for the product. Horrible customer service and the product is not so great either. This portable air conditioner cools the room efficiently, but I cannot recommend it for purchase because of certain problems we had when we first used it. Now it works fairly okay, but we still have to check for water leakage regularly. The unit is noisy and a bit fiddly to install. It started leaking lots of water and this was during peak summer season, so we couldn't use it until the repairer came to check it out. You have to have a lot of patience and basially suffer in the heat waiting for them to come to solve your problem. They were closed during the holiday season and no one offered any other solution for us. The service from Delonghi is terrible and not satisfactory because they pass you on to the local repair shop and they don't care about the customer.

Good – I guess its an okay unit, you can get this for around $699-799 new or second hand for around $399 or less. If you are a renter or a student who need to move quite frequently, I can recommend this product. Cool my bedroom (3 X 3 X 2.75 )perfectly Once I even bring it to my living/dining area of about 35sqm, its able to maintain the temperature in the house down when the weather outside is 39.9 deg. - Big in size

- noise

- the unit leaks lots of water after 2 years of use and repair is costly

Excellent – I have 2 delonghi units, this one and the other is pretty much the same older model with the same features and i have yet to fault either unit. Cooling is really good and seems to be quite cheap to run. Very happy with product, highly recommended. Effective cooling, noise level not to bad, on/off timer, dont need to empty any water ever. none found so far
