Cons: Takes a while to get used to the noise level, which I'm told is a feature of portable units.
Overall: Bought this for bedroom. Cools the room quickly and has plenty of power. Much bigger than I expected a portable unit to be. I don't think well be moving it around much! Only down side is the racket, it is REALLY noisy, the salesperson did warn us but even so it was surprising. You do get used to it after a while, but be prepared.

Overall: Have only had this unit a couple of months. But so far it works fine has a ten liter water tank for the water to air feature but only have to fill it once every couple of days in humid weather as it takes moisture from the air as well. Cools my medium bedroom fine. Just switch it on about an hour before bed. And as far as noise goes for a portable aircon it's good compressor is very quiet and all you can really hear us the swoosh from the air being blown out. I have had a few portables and this would be the best unit I have owned so far. Would be lost without it and hope it does me well for a few summers to come.

Hi, I live in a unit and every room is tiled. I wanted to know how well it works with days over 35 degrees? also does the piping need to go outside a window?
