OK – Since it has lasted so long and does a good job on the clothes, I gave it a 3. The dial should work, or just not be there as it is really not needed. You can adjust steam pressure via a separate dial so you don't really need a visual one. I'm not sure if anyone else has the steam problem I do, could possibly be that we had a bit of bore water in the rain water tank when I refilled the iron. Comfortable to hold, looks nice. Still works after 6 years. Iron is good quality and gets very hot. I have the older model, it has a dial for steam pressure and that never worked, but it didn't bother me. Steam occasionally does not come out evenly, and I end up with wet spots on the clothes. You can't replace the water if it runs out while your ironing, you have to cool it down first.
