Terrible – I purchased the previous model which "died" after less than 4 months use. As it had been upgraded, it was replaced by the current model (this one). This iron lasted less than 30 minutes. This was replaced and this third iron only lasted 30 minutes also. After negotiation, DeLonghi agreed to give me a credit. It didn't seem to make ironing any… Read more
easier or quicker. I am going back to a good, regular steam iron of a different brand. Large removable tank makes it easy to refill. Bulky and takes up a lot of room in the laundry or cupboard.
Terrible – Our family has now been through 4 delonghi steam irons in about 18 months. At first, they work brilliantly but after a couple of months they begin to fault. The most common problem is lots of water spitting out of the iron. You spend more time ironing up the spilt water than ironing - if you know what I mean. Retailer has replaced 2 of the units… Read more
to date through the extended warranty we purchased. These replacements are now also ready for the bin, after slightly less than 1 year. We have now moved to the Phillips Steam irons, seem to be much more reliable and gets the job done FAR, FAR quicker. You don't buy expensive irons to muck around... Looks nice, good sized reservoir, when it works it works quite well. Far better than a regular iron. Started to spit water after a few months, which only got worse over time. Water now floods out of the unit most of the time. Fails to keep heat now - constantly interupting ironing as the unit needs to heat before more steam is produced. The cord is frayed through to the staem and power cord where it rubs on the ironing board. FAR TOO EXPENSIVE for a product that faults within 1 year.
Don't do it – Nothing but spitting water and problems. Very poor service. Just do not waste your money like we did. The licensed service place was a joke. Leaked, spat, stained.
I will never buy a DeLonghi iron again, cord frayed got replaced under warranty, now there are probe – I bought a DeLonghi Steam iron, unsure of the model number? When the iron worked, it was great! I had the cord replaced under warranty, this took a year and many phone calls with me chasing DeLonghi; I have then had problems with the iron since then; intermitently. I have finally had a chance to call again, 3 phone calls with no "calls back", I am… Read more
very unappy with their lack of service and there "don't care" attitude. I spoke with their Service Manager and she was extremely rude and short... Initially it was good They don't seem built to last, their service is some of the worst I have experienced in the World!!!
Terrible – I will never buy a delonghi iron again, due to the poor service we received and the poor quality of the iron, Why doesn't delongi take some responsibility with their product. After looking around and wanting to buy another brand of Iron which was double the price we bought the delonghi, we thought it was a good second option. It worked well for… Read more
the first few months. It broke down 3 times and all the times we had it repaired it only lasted for approximately 12 months. Also the service agent they referred us to in Ashfield was appalling, rude, and all the things you should't be when you own a business.
Don't waste your money! – Worked ready well for first few months. Then the screen went blank, however it still worked. A month later the iron stopped working all together. For the money you pay, you would expect better. Great steam, did a good job ironing. Screen broke and then iron stopped working,
Hi We have had 3 and had problems and returned all We have been waiting months for a refund or replacement.customer service non existent
Good – Good results, and faster ironing time. As this is the first cleaning system of this kind, we have nothing to compare it against, except normal steam irons. However I wouldn't go back to the "normal". A little on the expensive side. Fill as you go,quick heating, powerful. Clumsy switch,a little too heavy
