Dick Smith Full HD LCD TV

Great value basic features tv – Clean style. Solid screen with no pixalation. Good picture, clean colour HD but not 4K. No smart features basic old hidden menus. Clean edging and ample inputs and outputs. Just lacked headphone output. Great buy for under $300. Remote functional but not feature rich. will see if it lasts more than five years?

Cannot fault this cheap television – I bought a 40" Dick Smith for my son's bedroom in 2012 for $299. It got little use until my LG finally gave up the ghost after 8 years. It has now been the main tv in the house for two years and is used daily. I cannot tell the difference between high end tvs in picture quality - to me the clarity and colour is excellent. The sound is excellent no need for sound bars. I didn't expect it to last more than a couple of years at the price I paid but it hasn't missed a beat yet. So I'll keep watching it till it does die. Unfortunately Dick Smith is now out of business but if you're looking for a cheap second hand tv, I wouldn't discount a Dick Smith one.

Not happy – Great tv but no info on the remote after sales care is a joke hope nothing goes work and also don't break or lose the remote or you'll be in trouble remote codes for this tv are super top secret you'll have more luck trying to break in to the Pentagon. .. Remote codes ?

Dick Smith GE6810 42inch – After looking at all TV`s for over a week & getting bamboozeled with all the sales pitch from the sales guys, I kept coming back to the $399 Dick Smith 42 inch. It has a 12 mth full warranty plus an extra 2 years for $50. I took a gamble on the TV as all I wanted was a good clear picture & sound. I was not after one that has all the Bells & Whistles that cost over a grand & upwards. Just an old fashioned TV for an old fashioned guy.. Everything so far, it does all i want & inexpensive.
