We had an internet service that was purchased by Dodo. We attempted to cancel the service multiple times. Each time they said they'd cancel it but next month we'd get another bill with another month's worth of charges added on. We ask them to cancel 5 times before they finally cancelled the service. We've explained to them multiple times that the charge is for the period after we asked them to cancel and asked them multiple times to cancel the charge. After the last email we didn't hear anything back so thought it was all resolved. Then 5 months later we got a call from Dodo chasing payment. We explained what had happened yet again and they thanked us for telling us our side of the story and said goodbye. Then they immediately sent a text threatening to send it to a debt collector if we didn't pay. At no point have they ever said they disagree with us when we've explained why the charges aren't fair. But they're still threatening to send it to a debt collector. I will never do business with this company again.

told me that it would be cancelled at the end of the month as that was my pay cycle, which I was happy and agreed with. They put me on hold and got back to me saying that there was a “mistake” and they ended up processing the cancellation effective immediately, which meant I was without internet for the remainder of my stay at the current property. They then said cancellation can’t be withdrawn once it’s been submitted, but I can start a new application with them instead to resolve the issue???? I will use every other internet provider before I dare to even use their services again.

Follow-up · It's obvious how a reduced rate would help a pensioner living solely on government benefits would help it would provide affordable entertainment to those who struggle financially. Even if the pensioner benefit was permanent priced at the introductory offer for new DODO members offered for the first 6 months on a permanent biases it would help the elderly manage limited finances and access home entertainment.

fine a complaints area, no help whatsoever, they send you a no reply email, that has got to be the dumbest thing ever, you get an email telling you they are changing the way you trade with them but you cant reply why send the email in the first place!! I can't resolve my issues I cant even talk to anyone so I am going elsewhere, like most I am happy to pay a premium to speak with an Ozzie call center!!

Follow-up · An excellent company. Great service - you get to speak with a human being and don't have to wait very long at all - I usually get through within 10 minutes if I have to call. Very good value - I appply for a 6-month review on my plan and generally get a discount, which is wonderful. I plan to stay with this comany indefinitely.

Changeover was very easy. No need to set up Modem. Offline for 20 mins while changeover occurred, very acceptable. While must be same hardware, speed seems much improved. Only been 2 days though

Cancelled my service , still charged me for the entire month even though I was only connected a matter of hours. Don’t bother with this provider - they don’t care about people with disabilities, I’m deaf and I can’t talk on the phone. But in order to cancel - they kept harassing me to call to cancel. But I have told them time and time again that I can’t, and not only they couldn’t help me, they kept piling up my billing. Making me pay $100. They are the worst providers I’ve ever had to deal with.

another technician would need to attend the property in person, with the earliest available appointment being 14 May. The whole process was frustrating and poorly managed. I ultimately cancelled the service because they were simply not reliable.
I made the mistake to sign up with dodo. First, when I started the service, they took 2 weeks to send the sim card, then after waiting for hours on the phone to activate it, they somehow failed to activate it. so I had to wait again, and call again, and wait again.
