Excellent updates when there are outages in my regional area. Also, if i call every 6 months, they generally give me a discount on my monthly Internet. The Internet, apart from the odd outage due to storms, is very reliable and stable. I will reamin with the company until a better offer arises. And I get to speak with a human being when I have to call! The same friendly, efficient service. Show details

Also, with the past 18+ months of cost of living pressures, and with so many other competition offering great deals, Dodo has always been competitive and always valuable to others. So even when I do look around for savings, Dodo still have been my best option.

Internet drops out a lot but that seems to be normal where I live, the speed is fine for my rural location, customer service is great if I have any issues it is so easy to submit a report via dodo and have someone contact me to troubleshoot, have no complaints about the cost or customer service. Show details

disconnected within a few minutes and will receive an email as soon as the service is changed over. I could find no facility to nominate a changeover date on the application, which I have had with all the other providers. I promptly phoned Dodo and waited nearly ¾ hour for the phone to be answered and was then told I need to speak to accounts. They switched me to Tech support and after another ½ hr I finally spoke to accounts stating I needed to advise my current provider of a cutoff date and coordinate the switch over. I was then told verbally my internet had already been switched and they could do nothing about it, they were very unsympathetic. I then waited for and did not receive a promised email advising me that the connection was completed and also the instructions on reconfiguring the modem. Consequently no internet for ½ day until I finished up phoning Tech support which resulted in them having to reconfigure the modem so that I could use the internet. Beware if you need to advise your current supplier who requires notice before a switch Dodo has no facility to do this. It is done as soon as the application is completed. There is long wait on the phone to get answers meanwhile you have been switched. Your previous provider generally won’t give you a prorate credit for any overlap time as payments are month to month. Not happy Dodo.

Just over two weeks ago on writing these comments regarding issues when signing up with Dodo I still have not heard back from them although mediation was requested. This company is quick at signing you up and getting your money but won’t respond to issues bought up.

 Follow-up  · A few questions have come back resulting from my review on Dodo. No issue with speed or dropouts to date, performance as advertised. Their monthly billing portal is basic but have no problems since signup. However, they are very sluggish in replying to my initial complaint and eventually said they would pass the information on. 6 months. Not for internet, not for mobile, nor for energy. I have literally no access, no control, no nothing. And my countless calls to operators became increasingly frustrating and fruitless. It is beyond my understanding how a company can not deal with this in this day and age. I am absolutely disappointed and trying for them to give me answers, send me my bills in the mail and explain themselves.

 Follow-up  · I have never received a bill in my emails or mail it was all online on their app, when all.of.sudden the gas and electricity part disappeared. And then everything else disappeared. Switchover was easy. Modem arrived early. Literally plug & play. Reconnecting other devices ,especially security cameras was a walm in the park unlike previous experiences. This is 2nd day of service. Hoping this is standard. Show details

 Follow-up  · Too many dropouts, lots more buffering experienced in last 2 weeks. To be fair, could be the weather, could be nbn. Checked with neighbors on optus n telstra ; they did not experience buffering. & there's definitely been less usage as the heavy users have moved out.

It was quite a bit of work as the fiber cable had to come from three houses away but all went very well and quickly, the entire project went well and quickly, it was running by the day after completion, very happy with the service, thank you, Paul. Show details

Worst experience ever, I was facing internet issue as my dodo modem stopped showing internet all of sudden, I complained them many times and requested for new modem, they didn't took my complaint serious and said its processed. and he made sure to proceed on the same day. Again after two days they started making lame excuses that we sent the modem on the wrong address, after so many long calls and complaints. Finally I got my modem after 2 weeks and then after connecting there was something wrong at their end as they were not able to detect modem, I provided them all the details but results were same, they asked for 2 days, nothing happened. I complained again they again asked for 2 more days to resolve remotely, So 22 days without any internet. Finally I cancelled my dodo service and found a new provider. Overall it was worst experience.

the "system". Apparently everything is automated now and generated by the "system" and somehow my connection was rejected by NBN for some "technical reason". Oh no they said, it's not my fault; not their fault either, God forbid. It is what it is! Not good enough. Especially since I cancelled my old provider thinking I was going to be transferred to Dodo on the date I explicitly stated on my application. Avoid Dodo at all cost!

Frequent dropouts (every hour) made this frustrating to use, not worth the slightly cheaper price than other ISPs. Cancellation required waiting on hold (again) before being able to cancel over the phone (wouldn't allow online cancelling)

Switched to Superloop and everything just worked straight away

TLDR -> Cheap for a reason

NBN 500 ≠ 500mbps. Lucky to get 100mbps, false advertising at is best. Offered me $10 discount after complaining, so $90 for NBN 80. Had great speeds and connection untill the 'free speed upgrades' where everyone got free upgrades to faster plans. Ruined it. Struggle to get over 100mbps, normally around the 80mbps mark. 300mbps prior to changes. I gave the benefit of the doubt, swapped modem, reset internet, optimised channels etc and made no difference, just wasted more of time. Streaming has issues, ended up using mobile internet more recently hence why I looked into billing and cancelled on the spot.

$100 for NBN 80, in 2026 is shameful. I thought I was paying substantially less, don't get a bill via email, they just take money out with direct debit... that's transparent. If this company had any decency they'd refund me my money from when speeds degraded, apologise, or make some attempt to rectify. They don't care, they'll keep pushing their discounted plans to new customers and cycle progresses.

Contacting customer service is an absolute joke. Request call backs never received them, have spent hours waiting on the app to be disconnected because the app needs to be refreshed, signs you out and have to sign in again and start over.

to call. Tried twice. On hold for over one hour combined. In the end just sent them a letter to cancel. If you sign up for a deal make sure you change as soon as possible, otherwise they claw it back with higher charges. Don't be lazy like me. Don't follow there cancellation process. Write a letter, sign it, and send it in an email.
