Good – The DSE Bookshelf speakers have suprisingly good sound quality for the price. The high range frequencies are clear, the mid range is warm and natural sounding and the bass is clean and undistorted. These speakers are rear ported which means that you can't push them right back up against the wall, but this shouldn't be a problem for most people. The build quality is average and the speaker covers are not acoustically invisible, so you will get clearer sound quality if you remove them. Paired together with the DSE stereo amp, you have a wonderfully clear sound system for around $200 which is excellent value for money.
