Very bad experience with Dreams. After booking, they enrolled us in a subscription without clear consent. Even after contacting them, they refuse to cancel and say it must continue for a full year. There are also hidden charges and currency differences, which feel very misleading. We are still struggling to stop the subscription. Would not recommend at all. Please be careful before using this site. Show details
A masterclass in how to scam your customers and get away with it I missed my flight because eDreams showed me the wrong departure time. In their app. In their confirmation. In a message they sent me directly. All said 16:00/16:10. Already in the car on a several hours journey to the airport only to notice the boarding pass said 14:00. Already too… Read more
late. The moment I realised I tried to contact them to fix it. And this is where it gets truly outrageous. No email address. No phone number. Live chat? Bots. It said a live agent was joining - I waited. And waited. Hours passed. Nothing. They are quite literally designed to be unreachable. I genuinely believe that is intentional. Then I noticed the banner - apparently if you buy their Prime membership, you can reach someone within 120 seconds. So there I am, stranded, panicking, and I'm having to pay extra just to contact the company that caused the problem in the first place. I bought it purely to get a human on the phone!! Guess what picks up after 120 seconds? Another bot. I argued my way through it, finally got placed on hold to be connected to a live agent and after all that, they cancelled the call after one hour each time I called. No agent ever joined. Oh, and that Prime membership I was forced to buy to try to fix their mistake? Locked in for a full year. When I asked them to cancel it given everything that happened, they refused. Can you believe the audacity? Then, and this is the part that really got me - after I complained, they went into the app and changed the departure time. It now shows 14:18 in my past flights. A time never once communicated to me before or during the day of travel. So not only did they give me the wrong information and leave me completely unreachable, they then quietly altered the record afterwards. This is not a legitimate business. This is an unreliable company that takes your money, gives you wrong information, makes themselves impossible to contact by design, charges you again just for the chance to speak to a bot, locks you into a yearly subscription, and then changes the evidence when you complain. Book directly with an airline. Every single time. Learn from my mistake - never, EVERR use eDreams. It is a scam.
Every single time I pick a flight on their page, they change the price to be several thousand dollars higher! On different days, different flights! I’m surprised it’s legal. It’ll say, “Oops, the airline changed the price.” But when you look for the flight again, they offer it cheaper once again and change it when you go to book it. Show details

Very poor services. I had booked a ticket once and somehow I had subscribed to it without knowing, but surprising thing was never received any email or any other correspondence regarding the subscription. And I had been paying $16.50 since Jan2026. And when I finally realised and cancelled the subscription it says it’s been cancelled but I will… Read more
still pay till Jan 2027. So I had to call the customer service, the guy who answered was sitting in Delhi, India. He finally managed to get the permission to cancel it so that I have no charges but explaining to him was a painful process. Even after I told him repeatedly that the subscription happened without my knowledge, and I have not and will not use the services anytime soon as I don’t have plans of travelling in the near future. He kept telling me that I had the chance to cancel before the trail period. If I didn’t know that I have subscribed then how should I know when the trail ended. I was expecting some refund but nope.
e-Dreams website. It’s a total scam. Don’t even think about using your credit card there – they slap fake discounts everywhere and then charge you way more than you signed up for. The site’s as secure as a sieve, so your info’s up for grabs. Seriously, steer well clear unless you wanna get ripped off and lose your hard-earned cash. Don’t be a mug, this place is a straight-up money thief Show details
Misleading practices + broken refund promise I had an extremely frustrating experience with eDreams, and I would strongly advise others to be very careful. I was charged €99 for the automatic renewal of their “Prime” subscription after a free trial. During the trial period, I actually tried to cancel, but their website explicitly suggested… Read more
keeping the subscription active until after my trip to “benefit from the perks.” This is clearly designed to make users forget to cancel — a very questionable practice.
After being charged, I immediately contacted support (March 16) explaining the situation. To their credit, they replied the same day confirming that a full refund (€99.99) had been initiated and would be processed within 72 hours.
However, that’s where the good part ends.
The 72 hours passed — no refund.
Since then: • March 22 — I asked for an update → ignored • March 23 — Follow-up → ignored • March 24 — Contacted again via their web portal → ignored • March 25 — Still no reply, no refund, no explanation
So not only do they use misleading tactics to push subscriptions, but they also: • Make promises about refunds that are not respected • Completely ignore customers once the issue is “closed” on their side • Provide zero transparency or accountability
At this point, it feels like they just say “refund initiated” to get rid of complaints, without actually following through.
This is unacceptable, especially for a company operating in the EU, where consumer protection laws clearly require transparency and fair practices.
Conclusion: Misleading subscription flow + false refund promises + nonexistent customer support = absolutely not trustworthy.
Avoid at all costs!! if you don’t want to waste your money and time. Feels like an absolute scam.
Stay far from the app and from them. They get money without my consent and I can not delete the membership from the app even though the said I can not do. They gave me a number to contact and after 12 minutes waiting for someone to help me I had to hung out due to all my credit was almost finished. No one helped me and soon they will get other money if I can not manage to delete the account! It is unbelievable, no acceptable!! Show details
Do NOT use under any circumstances. I booked a flight two months ago and followed instructions clearly, reading fine print. They nonetheless charged me a monthly “subscription” for $16/month. AI customer service over phone, no human answers after 30 mins. Reported their ILLEGAL transactions to MasterCard and Commonwealth Bank for refund. DO NOT USE, not now, not ever. Unauthorized eDreams Prime charge of $89.99 after a 2023 booking I booked a flight with eDreams in June 2023 (Cairo → Sharm el-Sheikh) and never knowingly subscribed to any paid “Prime” membership. I only used the service once, and there were no renewal charges in 2024 or 2025. Unexpectedly, in 2026, eDreams charged me $89.99 USD for a “Prime… Read more
renewal” I never agreed to. I have contacted customer service several times, but they keep refusing a refund, citing company “policy.” This charge is clearly unauthorized, and I have now filed a formal complaint with consumer-protection authorities. I hope eDreams will review my case seriously and process the refund as soon as possible.
My booking was made for a departure time of 11:15 AM, which is clearly shown in my original order details. However, the final confirmation issued by eDreams shows the departure time as 11:15 PM (23:15). This change was made without my consent and does not match what I selected at the time of booking. regarding this issue, but I was only told that nothing could be done and received repeated apologies without any solution. This is unacceptable, as the confirmed booking does not reflect the service I purchased. lodge transaction dispute from the bank to get refund.
When you book tickets, they hiddenly subscribe you for a $100 a year prime subscription, which you will find out in your bank statements later. Sure, there was a small check box ticked by default, which is easy to miss, but this is dodgy behavior. And if you check reddit, thousands of people get subscribed like this. Show details

Rating: ⭐ 1 star – Sneaky charges, poor transparency, and misleading support I’d give eDreams 2 or 2.5 stars if this was just about hidden subscription traps — but their behaviour went beyond that. Free trial trap: you’re allowed one 15-day free trial of eDreams Prime. Fair enough. But here’s the shady part: If you book again using the same… Read more
details (same passenger, same email), the website gives no indication you’re ineligible for a second trial.
It actively encourages you with another “Welcome to Prime – Enjoy your 15-day free trial!” message, as if you're a new user.
Then, AFTER you pay for the ticket, it quietly charges you $13.99 the same day and locks you into a 12-month subscription.
No warning, no pop-up, no prompt saying: "It looks like you've already used a free trial."
Instead, they rely on buried legalese in clause 3.1.3 of the T&Cs to justify it. That’s deceptive design.
Can’t cancel online - you must call. In 2025, WHYY am I being forced to call customer support to cancel a subscription? That’s classic dark pattern behaviour. No in-app cancellation, and even the support agent tried to talk us out of cancelling.
No "Welcome to Prime" email = no consent: the first Prime trial (June 2025) never triggered a “Welcome to Prime” email because of some tech issue, which their own Terms & Conditions say is critical because it contains the Prime Term, Fee, and Commitment Period. Without that, we never consented to the trial terms.
Customer service lied to me directly: when I called on 31 July 2025, they claimed the original Welcome to Prime email from June had been sent, and they “had it in front of them” and would “forward it again.”
The email that arrived on 1 August was not the June email. It was something completely different - a generic policy reminder saying only one trial is allowed.
So either they couldn't produce the original email, or they flat-out lied.
Bottom line: misleading website flow, tricky subscription mechanics, and poor support. I wouldn’t trust them again.
I wish you to give zero review. eDreams: A Truly Frustrating Experience with Subscriptions My experience with eDreams has been incredibly disappointing, largely due to their archaic and customer-unfriendly subscription cancellation process. Frankly, it's one of the most stupid sites I've ever encountered when it comes to managing user accounts. … Read more
In an age where virtually every online service allows you to manage subscriptions with a few clicks, eDreams forces you into an infuriating loop: you cannot cancel your subscription online. That's right, you're forced to call them to stop a recurring charge. This isn't just inconvenient; it feels like a deliberate tactic to make cancellations as difficult as possible, hoping users will just give up.
To add insult to injury, even when I called them on the very day of the renewal, they refused to refund the amount. This policy is completely unacceptable and shows a profound disregard for customer satisfaction. It's predatory to charge someone for a service they no longer want and then deny a refund, especially when their own system makes it impossible to cancel proactively online.
If you're considering using eDreams, be extremely wary of their subscription services. What might seem like a good deal upfront can quickly turn into a headache when you try to manage or cancel it.
They are scam. I called in 2024 to cancel my subscription auto renewal but turns out they continued and took the money off from my new card details I used for a separate account. I called again twice in a month this year to raise my concern. But again, it was disregarded the first time and even promised me I won’t be charged again and it did after… Read more
a month. When I asked for a refund because it was an error on their end and breached my privacy of my bank card which I issued just this year and my husband account was only used once last year with my old card. They claimed it is the same card I used last year which is not true. They also denied that I called them when I had already sent them the screenshot of my phone call from this year. During the screenshot I was on third call with them with their agent. Save yourself and stay away from them!! They don’t have principle and sense of responsibility.
TERRIBLE. RIPPER of your money. Misrepresentation and unethical marketing. Discounts are far away. The actual prices are not competitive, and you will be trapped in hidden charges at the checkout. checkout, that price is only applicable if I use a specific class Visa Credit Card. When I use other credit or debit cards, the price jumps by Rs . 3500/-. What....? Are kidding...? Parallely, I had the actual airline booking on the other screen and continued booking there. Pretty straightforward. Though it seemed Rs200 more on the airliner portal, it had no other hidden costs if you don't opt for any more options. Ended up paying just what was listed in the airline's portal.

on the phone after a few attempts and said to cancel this arrangement immediately. The individual I spoke to said they did not have my name or my email address on record. He said I should go to my bank and then call them back with an ARN number to try and identify my account (my bank has never heard of an ARN number). While promising to help me cancel my "subscription" this individual continued to try to convince me that they provide good deals and I should presumably stay "subscribed" ( in an unwanted , unwelcome and unauthorized subscription that that they do not even have any record of in their system). To my great inconvenience today I have had to travel to my bank, cancel my bank card and order a new one. Now I have to contact all my legitimate direct debt providers again.
