Pros: Electonic controls big door control of cycle
Cons: electonics stopped working after 2 years
Overall: This has been an OK machine. I found I did not need 1400 rpm spin - too fast. Also was not happy with the rinse. I always used extra rinse. Now it has stopped working. Just out of warranty. Water pump and electonics have failed. Over $500 to fix. I am buying a new machine - not electrolux. Very disspaointed as it was not a cheap machine.

Pros: It cleans clothes using very little detergent
Overall: This washing machine has been great for the 2 years that we've owned it so far. When we first bought it, we followed the instructions and it stopped working after only a few weeks but the service guy come out and told us it was only "suds locked" where it gets too full of foam and can't pump water out. He showed us how little detergent we need to use (about a heaped tea spoon) and it has been perfect ever since. Very happy with it.

Cons: Expensive, break downs and to much technology to fix.!
Overall: Within days of using the machine it stopped working, it was fixed twice third time they replaced the electric panel (free)only to stop again now 12 months on.

Cons: Too many faults after just one year.
Overall: This machine was a replacement for the Ultra silencer (dud no.1). Worked well for first year, but recently started not draining and just stopping mid cycle. Also stops a few seconds into cycle and start button needs to be pressed again to re-start. Absolute rubbish! Technician coming out tomorrow, will no doubt take machine away to be serviced, so will be without a machine for God knows how long. Too many problems with Electrolux. Will never buy their product again!

Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Not reliable
Overall: The machine has been repaired for the same fault 3 times in 2 and a 1/2 years. It doesn't finish the cycle and spin out. They replace the man board every time. I'm glad I took out extended warranty! I should have paid the extra and got the Miele.

Pros: Liked it before it decided to fail on me.
Cons: Whatever is wrong with it now is a big con.
Overall: Had a guy from Electrolux come out to see why it kept saying "cannot fill please check if the tap is on and press start blah blah blah" So he came out had a look and thought it was the washer valve (I think that's what it's called) he said hes never changed one before in these machines as it is very rare for the valve to stuff up(mind u he said he has been fixing machines for 25 years) Anyway, that wasn't the problem, he then thought it was our tap the machine hose is hooked up to, he told us to turn of the mains and check if there was a blockage, and left us with that. So we went and did just that, intfact we changed the whole tap all together, but that's not the problem. I'm so upset over this, i have to call electrolux on Monday, haven't done washing for days, things are starting to pile up, :-( my warranty runs out in June! So I hope we find out what the problem is, before the warranty runs out. Next washing machine we get deffinatly won't be electrolux. Miele or Bosch is the way to go! Well there's my life story lol.

Machine stops on spin cycle and won't drain. Any solutions ? Fixed twice already in last twelve months very disappointed

Hi Mick, I had the same exact same problem. The last time it was repaired (3rd repair) The tech said that electrolux had issued a service notice and that the PCB, pump and door latch had to be replaced, not just the PCB as was done in my previous repairs, apparently it is the pump that causes the fault with the PCB, why the latch needs to be replaced, we don't know. The machine is now working better than it did when we first got it. Hope this info helps.

Keep getting your machine fixed, keep bothering Electrolux and let them know you're not happy each time. Get onto a sales rep and see what they can do for you, after all they represent the company and shouldn't be there just to sell their crap, but also to follow up on their many duds. And document everything, every tiny little fault even if it wasn't a repair. Good luck.
