Pros: Reliable. Very quiet. Easy to clean. Eco-cycle saves energy.
Cons: Knives will cut the plastic holder. I repaired mine with fine galv fencing wire to stop them falling through. Sometimes the powder will clog in the detergent receptacle.
Can chip cups unlike our previous Whirlpool (german made) which never chipped.
Overall: Dishlex Global 300 WA has been a very reliable washer. Most loads come out clean. It doesn't do a good job with small seeds like chia nor baked on food. Fishbones will end up in the filter, so check monthly.
Cons: handle broke at ~ 15 months - actualliy 1 small plastic clip inside the handle unit. I improvised a 'fix' with some synthestic rope, worked for 7 years after that. Now [at ~9 years] getting a short that trips safety switch. I'm advised it is the heating element - I'll investigate fixing this and see if I can get 7 more years out of it.
Somewhat noisy when drawing water.
Wash cycle seems a bit long.
Cutlery basket allows forks / spoons to protrude and jam draws.
Overall: Reasonably happy with this unit. Other than the noise - I have an open plan family room/meals / kitchen - gets a bit annoying when trying to watch telly can't really fault the performance.
In fairness - we rinse the dished pretty well - before we place in the dishwasher so we get a very good clean and have never had smells or blockages.
Overall: PROS: It's such an uncomplicated thing to manipulate. I thought it was intimidating at first, but with the help of the manual, everything went on smoothly. I love the fact that it is rated AAA which means I can have huge savings with water consumption. I can be assured of the cleanliness too inside this machine as it has 4 filtration stages, which is what sets it apart from the other dishwashers, usually havingonly 3 filtration stages.
CONS: none
OVERALL: Overall, it's a good dishwasher that's worthy of your money.
