Overall: My dishwasher is only 5 years old, it doesn't always heat , parts replaced in the main swich, which it fused out and smoked, and again.
Every complaint I have read is the same as mine, have had all these problems with my dishlex DX302, I am now going to throw it out and go buy a new one , not a Dishlex Electrolux. Thanks everyone for your reviews.

Overall: Same as every other review. Heating problems. Would not heat the water after 2 years. I found if you turned the washer off and on it work heat water, but only on 30 min cycle.(the fault was in the ciruits and not just an elemnt) Cost of repairs made it un economical to fix it. Reason for the review now is that I just taken the peice of junk out now and am in the process of replacing it (not with an electrolux). Don't buy an electrolux, they are dud machines with expensive service charges.

Cons: Awful customer service, ridiculous repair cost with little gain
Overall: We bought the dx302 approx. four years ago and we have had the heating element replaced numerous times and had the switch burn out. When service repairs were conducted on our dishwasher and service fees paid, we found the machine was still not working. Service call out fees are ridiculous and their customer service was cold and applied no common sense to our situation.
Do yourself a favour and stay away from Electrolux because when things go wrong their service is terrible and the machines have many issues that just keep reoccurring.

Overall: We bought a dx302sj, ours stopped drying and cleaning properly about 3 months after we bought it. i never made a complaint as i was too disappointed after having another brand dishwasher for years and years without a problem. I should have read the reviews before buying it all those years ago...

Overall: We have had for appro 5 years and over the last 6 months it has stopped heating the water and is not cleaning the dishes. Have had repairer here numerous times, changed parts (replacement part approx $150 for no result)....still the same...What a piece of junk!!!

Pros: middle of the range cost wise, is the only thing I can think of.
Cons: It stopped heating the water so no longer washes the dishes. We have had the dishwasher for four years and have had other problems with it shortcircuiting. Have had technician fix that problems but not even going to bother getting it fixed this time, too expensive. It has never cleaned the dishes that well anyway. Wouldn't buy another Dishlex.
Overall: We bought the dishwasher 4 years ago for $770. It has now stopped heating the water so doesn't wash the dishes. Have read this is a common problem with this model. We have had other problems before this, a plastic cap fell off and allowed water to get through to wiring, shortcircuiting.

I have a Electrolux Dishwasher DX302SJ and it has started to NOT empty the chamber after each cycle! In other words there is still water laying in the bottom of the machine at the end of the wash cycle. Answers please to [email removed]

This happened to our dishwasher recently (different brand) but sounds like the same problem. The technician took off the dishwasher hose that joins at the sink pipe and simply unblocked it. He said that grime builts up and/or food waste can get caught in this join because its narrow and can stop the water exiting the dishwasher. He said next time it happened to check that first before ringing a technical. It's worth a try and if it works will save you $100.
Can i run the DX302WJ model from the hot water tap as it no longer heats the cold water? How much water does it use per cycle?

I gave up trying to get the parts to work, sorry. I did some further research and got another brand that has been far more reliable, and dries the dishes as well. Sweet!!!
