Around 10 years old and still going great – This cook top has lasted me around 10years so far and hasn't let me down. The safety features are great and it hasn't burnt my house down yet. I am just searching for a cutout size as it has outlived my kitchen bench Show details

Good if you only use one unit – Had this model for just over 6 years, but only installed for 5 years. Like it because of the combination of convection and induction stove. Thought it would be a good product that would last a reasonable time as it was made in Germany. The stove failed twice with the same problem. Worked well only if only one stove was turned on. The first time… Read more

it failed was about 2 years ago while we have 2 stoves turned on in full power. In less than 2 minutes the stove stopped and costed a lot of $$$ to have it fixed. After this event, we tried to use the stove with precaution and avoid using 2 stoves at the same time even the cooktop comes with 4 units. 2 days ago, the cooktop blown again and giving an error message " 03" , same as last time. After reading reviews here and on other sites, have decided it is probably not worth paying to get it fixed. There is a design problem with this cooktop as it can only work with one stove to be turned on even with 4 units. I think Electrolux should take care this kind of design fault. Never buy any Electrolux.

Twoo year life expectancy! – Our stop top has just blown up for the third time. Happens every 2 yrs right on the warranty. Unfortunately out of warranty this time, so will be changing brands. Love using the induction though.

Good while it lasted ! – Had this model for just over 5 years. Worked well until the other night when it made a "pop" noise, turned off and won't turn on again. After reading reviews here and on other sites, have decided it is probably not worth paying to get it fixed. This is the second induction cooktop I have owned (first one was Scholtes which cost $$$ and lasted… Read more

about 6 six years). Have now decided it is not worth paying the extra money for brand name products, especially when the life expectancy is around 5 years with only a 12 month warranty. Why spend the extra money when I can buy an induction cooktop from a well known store with a 5 year warranty for $599.

Do not buy this model – We thought Electrolux was a good brand when we bought our cooktop but at after 14 months the cooktop had blown (Error message). The service staff were not very nice to my husband when he phoned them. Electrolux repaired it under warranty but now it has blown again - this time with a very loud "pop" and it's totally dead. The cooktop was only 2.5… Read more

years old.

The technician who attended said the power boards had blown and it would cost $840 for the parts on top of the $134 service fee that we had to pay for him to come and look at it. From reading the reviews before mine, this is obviously a common problem with this model. Why won't Electrolux replace these faulty units?

We will never buy another Electrolux product and we won't be repairing this dud, only to have it blow up again in another 12 months. Shame on you Electrolux! It looked good and worked great while it lasted Didn't even last 3 years.

Not a good purchase – Although a great performer and very easy to use, it only lasted 4 years! Was told a fix would cost $1200, or it would be replaced for $700. Disappointing as I did love it, but can't afford to purchase another at the risk of it also breaking down. Being electronic, operating from a single board, if something goes wrong, the whole things stops… Read more

working. Fast heat, easy to regulate, hot plate is cool when pots are removed, easy to clean, looks great, safety lock. Electronic board failed.. Expensive to buy and fix.

Electrolux Induction Cooktop Fatal Fault EHD6676P – It lasted 4 years. The service tech popped in yesterday. $100 Parts to fix $1450 Labour $200 Lessons learned at the hands of Electrolux Priceless. It did what it needed to do for 4 yearswith some minor complaints What more can I say. It gave an error E3. The tech said the power boards blow inside them. Fatal !

Fatal error and short lifetime – I had a similar bad experience with EHD60100P, it lasted 2 years and 8 mths, electronic board replacement cost quoted at $1400. Products like this should have reasonable life expectancy of 10 years + !! And the repair cost is way too much, it was more than what I paid for in the purchase price, now getting a new one from another supplier makes much better sense. Broken in 3 years

failed after little use – I bought this rather expensive thing hoping that european quality would mean a long life. But like another reviewer I was disappointed with its lifetime - it was about 4 years old but had had very little use as I almost never cook. Electronic control unit failed and replacement, after $200 service calls to diagnose, was $1200 so I bought another… Read more

one for $900 from a different brand - similar appearance, identical functionality so far. This experience will stop me ever buying an electrolux product again. looked the part while alive very short lifetime
