Pros: The elements that do work are fantastic. But for how long.
Cons: Elements always playing up.
Overall: I Use to promote induction cooktops for energy Australia when they first came on the market 15 years ago.
Just built a new house and decided I would lash out and get the best. Ha what a joke.
Had it installed and it wouldn't work.
Moved in to our beautiful new house and couldn't cook.
Rang Electrolux they referred me to repair company.
5 visits over 2 months 3 elements working. Finally
After complaining they replaced it with new one.
The next one worked for 2 months. Now the largest element won't boil.
Referred back to repair company, and have been waiting 3 months and still not fixed.
Department of fair trading next.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this brand.
Very disappointing but their oven is great.
Cons: Smell of hot plastic from beneath when in use
Overall: When the horrid halogen cook-top died I went for induction as we don't have gas here. It is so quick to boil water and copes with a wok no problem.
The timer is a godsend, no more overcooking.
I would buy another of these in a heartbeat.
I don't have big fingers but getting correct heat setting number on the touch slide can be hit and miss. Also I had to buy whole new pots and pans set to suit induction.
