Pros: At first was a fantastic machine easy to load, could shorten wash time great till..................
Cons: Once the 2Yr warranty expired had nothing but problems. The machine would stick at the rinse part of each programme then reset itself leaving the clothes still soaking and the cycle unfinshed.
We contacted Electrolux's call centre and after being rudely told that the machine was out of warranty and we would have to pay for all repairs a technician came out and replaced all circuit boards. He told us this would solve the problem and went away,we turned the machine on and waited for the first wash to finish......it didn't the cycle stopped and exactly the same place.
We once again contacted the very un-helpful call centre and the technician was re-booked,he would take another week to turn up.He arrived replaced the same circuit boards and told us if this didn't cure the problem he was out of ideas!!!!!!
Well it didn't a 1400 dollar washing machine which lasted just over two years is a terrible product in our eyes.We will never buy an Electrolux appliance again and suggest anyone thinks long and hard about buying one too, also we think perhaps Electrolux should get their call centre staff to be a little more sympathetic to customers needs considering the prices of their products. We have now purchased an LG washing machine with a ten year motor warranty.
Overall: CRAP!! wouldn't purchase anything with the Electrolux Emblem ever again and will let as many people as possible know their attitude to their customers after the initial sale has occured

Pros: It really spin dry my clothes quickly even just at 1200 spin, I didnt want to overuse the 1400spin unless its bedsheets and towels. I had it for a year and hasnt give me much problem. Love the handwash function that saves me lotsa of self DIY washing for delicate laundry.
Cons: I think the machine doesnt have a sensor to shorten the washing time if i put in less than 7kg clothes. So a half load lundry takes about as long as a full load. I suppose it is ok if you preset the load to wash at night while sleeping. The washer will stop working completely when the filter at the bottom is full and the water will leak out all over the floor when u open the cover at the base.
Overall: I love my front load washer except it was a little pricey.overall a good buy and worthy investment. The ergo loader also made retrieving washed clothes easier than the conventional front loader
