Good Design, Okay Made, Terrible Parts Supply – I bought this fridge at the end of 2016 and a little over a year later, say 2018 the ice maker broke and I could not buy a replacement. The machine is large and well designed but it's cheaply made. After five years we have multiple cracked plastic being held together with glue. Show details
Started falling apart after around three years. Flimsy – After around 3 years, the fridge started falling apart. Freezer handle broke. Fridge door shelf broke. Two out of three of the fridge crisper shelves have broken. And it now makes an unusual slight whistle sound when the motor is operating. Terrible value for money. Show details
No parts after 8 years - so your $4000 fridge is now disposable! – We bought an electrolux fridge. No parts available after the fridge is only 8 years old. Don't believe me? See below. Considering they are supposed to last 10-20 years just hope nothing breaks. Have a look an the Amount of “no longer available” Parts in their spares section of their website. The model i bought was Ese7007sc. 80% no longer… Read more

Electrolux make a Limited number of parts and then that it. Still don’t believe me? Run the risk yourself in 7 years. Never again Electrolux. Never again. Very annoying.
Great fridge BUT – This has been a great fridge however we have broken the fridge door bin (bottle shelf in the main door) and despite the fridge only being about 8 years old, can't buy spare parts for it ANYWHERE! For an appliance that cost almost $4000, it's not unreasonable to expect to be able to buy parts for it for at least a good ten years or so. Pretty poor after sales service. Show details
NEVER buy from Electrolux – My fridge is 6 years old and the black insulation is coming out and has torn off the fridge and freezer seal. The guy that came to look at it said this should never happen and that it is a fault. When you spend over $3,000 you expect it to last longer than 6 years Show details

Mixed feelings. Let down by flimsy plastic interior – I liked a lot about this fridge but the thin plastic interior keeps breaking. We had our original one replaced at a discounted cost to us in 2015 as the plastic shelf in front of the crispers cracked. Now the replacement fridge is under warranty still and again we have a crack in this part and also the plastic door interior holding the door… Read more
shelves has cracked so the shelf can’t be used anymore and a door shelf itself has cracked. Electrolux is attending next week but not sure what will happen as the model is discontinued. If only the plastic interior was more durable, it would have been a great fridge for us. Customer service has been ok so far but will see what the outcome is.
Just an update to our problem. Electrolux ended up offering us a full store credit for the fridge… Read more
Require a door for our Electrolux fridge model ESE7007BA Black – I love our fridge it maintains great everything, BUT the bottom Door assey and thimble filler in the door broke and insulation collapsed> Outcome by a technician says we either need a new door to match or buy a new fridge! I am hoping to find a door that we can replace with ours as we cannot get parts for this fridge anymore because Electrolux no longer make this model!!!!! Hoping someone can assist. Show details
Terrible fridge but customer service even worse! – This is our third replacement fridge as first 2 delivered had major condensation issues. Now this fridge has a blown compressor. 8 very long frustrating weeks later we have just been informed that the compressor( which was still under warranty) has been replaced but the tubing which carries the coolant from the compressor cannot be repressurised.… Read more
This process inspite of being caused by the blown compressor is not covered by warranty. They are happy to sell us a replacement fridge for $1300. Seriously Electrolux??!! Surely you can do better than this. This model is a lemon and should have been recalled. To say we are disappointed is a gross understatement. Your customer service department has an opportunity to turn this into a positive situation however week after week they continue to disappoint.

Electrolux Customer service – My Electrolux ESE7007BE which is about 15months old and still under warranty ran out of refrigerant due to a slow leak in the compressor. The first signs that all was not well was the thawing of my goods in the freezer. Despite having electronic temperature display, there was no indication that the freezer was warming and the alarm that should… Read more
have detected this failed to operate. As a result, a freezer and fridge of food had to be discarded. I contacted electrolux customer care who promptly sent a technician the next day to diagnose the problem. The technician identified the problem and advised someone would definitely contact me on the Monday. No one from electrolux phoned. I contacted electrolux customer care on the Tuesday to follow up on the issue. They attempted to contact someone from their Melbourne office but to no avail. They advised that they would then send someone in the Melbourne office an email to contact me today. I eagerly await their response as I have been without refrigeration for four days and managing a angry wife and child with an esky and ice. I will advise of how electrolux manage to rectify this situation. So far, I am not too pleased particularly after reading some of the comments from other electrolux customers.
So far I have been very pleased with the attentiveness of the electrolux customer service team. I… Read more (+1 reply)
Not sure if I will get another one – I loved the fridge when we first got it, it is so pretty, quiet and with lots of storage. However, the fridge broke down with a compressor failure right after the manufacturer's warranty. But I was lucky that I bought the extended warranty with Electrolux. I called them up on 6 September when the fridge stopped working and they sent out a guy to… Read more
check it up pretty quickly and promised a replacement.
The replacement were delivered 6 weeks later (when I was told 3 weeks), but with a cracked glass door. The delivery guy told me that he can't let me accept a faulty delivery and because I still had my loan fridge from the company. He said I will be contacted by the head office soon to organise another replacement. I thought, fair enough. And I waited another 2 weeks with no response, so I called back. Head office gave me a number to call Queensland branch because apparently they are responsible for the delivery and head office had no control over it. So I called the Queensland distributor and there was no one to pick up the phone. I called back to the head office and wishing to get it resolved as I think I have waited long enough to get a proper answer. Anyway, all I got is I will get a phone call from the Queensland distributor when it is ready.
I got a call just last week, early December and said it will be another 3 weeks of waiting, but they promised it will be here before xmas. I complained to them about the time I had to wait and now another three weeks? No way! So the guy called asked me to call the head office again to get my message across.
I called them again this week and explained everything all over again and got a supervisor to process a refund instead. Having all these upset, I still have to say that the girls on the phone were all very nice and friendly, maybe just not helpful enough. I was also told that I could apply for the food lost compensation for months and never received the application form for it. The supervisor just called me now and said I am not eligible to claim it as it is only available under 2 year manufacturer's warranty. I guess I am just grateful that I am getting a full refund at all.

Major breakdown and Worst Customer Service Ever – Bought the fridge in December 2011 and the compresser had to be replaced in May 2014. Electrolux covered the compresser parts costs (after an argument) but insisted we pay the labour costs as well as a call out fee to tell us the fridge had to be carted away!! Would never buy Electrolux or any affiliated products again as not reasonable to have the fridge collapse after so short a time and then have arguments with their customer service.

It is so pretty!! – I must admit - I bought this model for its looks!! After doing my research, had decided on the Westinghouse model (made by same company) but then saw this beauty!! But not only is it prettier, but it also has some extra features - such as the dairy drawer (fantastic idea) and the electronic controls. Love that it is made in Australia. My mum had a westinghouse fridge taht is still going after nearly 20 years!! It is so pretty!!

Electrolux no support – Bought two years ago. Has worked well. All of a sudden alarm was going. Icon looked like it was saying the fridge was on an angle - not much info in the manual about this. Emptied fridge, took off doors, made sure everything straight. Back on again and alarm still going off. Asked Electrolux how to turn off alarm. Told to get someone in to look at… Read more
it. $139 for standard call out. How about "see if this works". The fridge freezer has been fine for two years, but I expect longer! When something does go wrong you realise the manual does not offer much help. Doesnt explain what the LED signs mean.
The compressor had broken. Luckily we were 2 weeks before the expiry of warranty. Awaiting new… Read more
Don't waste your time or money – When I first purchased this fridge I could not wait to have it delivered on 24/2/2013. The problem is getting one to your house that does not have a cracked/chipped/broken glass door. Not to mention the first one I had only lasted 6 days before I had to buy an eski to put all the food that I had just filled it with, in. Then comes the service! You… Read more
would expect that when you buy a $3800 fridge and it turns up damaged and stops doing what fridges are supposed to do (keep food cold) after 6 days, that the Electrolux customer service staff would be helpful. Sadly this is not the case but I won’t go into that as this review will quickly become a novel. Anyway when my replacement fridge arrived it was also damaged (a large chip in the door) and the doors did not even come close to lining up when shut. Leaving out the details of customer service staff questioning why I had accepted the delivery if it was damaged (hopefully it is obvious to you… the last fridge no longer worked!). A week later a fridge that was supposed to be not broken not damaged was delivered at the most inconvenient time, as with the last two fridges. This one was also damaged, a large crack in the door. I was told on the 11/2/2013 that it was a 4 to 6 week wait for a replacement and that I would have to take more time of work while the technician fitted the door. It’s now 30/2/2013 and I still don’t have a fridge that is not damaged, but at least this one is still working. It looks great getting one that is not damaged, customer service is terrible

Stylish looks ! – We bought this almost 2 years ago when our trusted GE fridge stopped working. It's very large and well designed, has bottle holders made of metal, most storage internally is plastic, I like the ice dispenser, the container did crack when I accidentally dropped it on floor. The only problem we had when was the gas at back was leaking, after 6 months… Read more · 1
from buying it, the technician came out twice and didn't believe us when we said it wasn't keeping the temperature, things were getting warm, second time he came and checked the back and said it would have to be taken back to factory, the company provided us with a new one 2 weeks later. We had to throw food out, but it was good of them to honour the warranty. Nice looking ! Works well, packed with features, large veggie & fruit containers. The steel doors tend to scratch easily, needs to be cleaned daily as leaves finger prints.
Definitely will not recommend this fridge to my worst enemy – The bottom of the fridge cracks easily if something small (like a piece of frozen chicken breast) falls on it. This happened twice. When I inquired about this defect I was told that they were manufactured to Australian Standards. I did not realise that Australian Standards are so low or they are just hiding behind some red tape. Although they… Read more
offered to send a technician over, I was informed that I would be charged for the tachinician's call if they did not find any manufacturer's fault. I definitely will not be recommending Electrolux fridges to anyone and my next fridge upgrade will not be an E*********! None - works just like my last Fisher & Paykel fridge Inferior quality. My last Fisher & Paykel fridge had no such problem
