Erratic, poor performing fridge – Only 15 months old and have had to have it repaired twice. Faulty control box which has meant food in fridge compartment has frozen and spoiled. Now waiting on third service call. Really frustrating experience and have lost faith in Electrolux and related brands because of substandard product and customer service. Looked ok Faulty, poor customer service

Technician arrived for third time (same guy, poor fellow). Very pleasant to deal with - the call centre could take a leaf out of his book by providing similar service. He rang his manager in Victoria and apparently someone will ring me to organise to replace the fridge. Not sure when this will actually happen. It's sad that the only time I get some form of customer service is as a result of resorting to commenting on the internet and trying to escalate a complaint through the call centre. Still not sure that its possible to be compensated for all the produce that we had to throw out. Nothing will make up for the inconvenience and frustration of persisting with the call centre, being captive at home waiting for the technician to arrive etc etc etc. Management should actually talk to the service technicians as they probably have some good ideas on how to improve customer service. And don't load up the call centre with process! Give them some authority to make decisions that will help customers and let them deal directly with the service technicians to resolve customer issues.

Door sagged in just 5 months, wont close! – Have had this fridge only 4 1/2 months and the main door has sagged at it's hinges to the point that it will not close unless you lift it to close. The gap at the pivot point is 25mm, and it is 30mm at the handle and progressively getting worse since I first noticed the door would not close 2 days ago. And now the handle itself is actually rattling probably due to having to lift it...very nice indeed considering we paid top dollar for an "Elecrolux". We have treated this fridge with care but it simply is not designed and built to last. This is either a design on manufacturing quality fault, either way you'd be wise to assume it is not a one-off condition. Keeps food cold, makes ice. Poor build quality/design & flimsy plastics

I emailed my contact details on Thursday and again this morning (Monday), I received 2 automated responses stating an Electrolux rep would call me shortly and still not a single phone call received. Add to this the fact that I have tried the 1300 number repeatedly, which either rings out or is engaged, and I'm wondering how hard to I have to try to get to actually speak with Nicole at Electrolux? They (Electrolux) sent a service person around to adjust the door on Friday, but the cracks that were caused by the door rubbing against the lower cavity are according to the repair contractor, not covered by warranty. The repair contractor told my partner that "These fridges are not built to last anymore and made in China like everything else". It's now 2:15 PM on Monday and no phone call from Electrolux.

Excellent – Have this fridge since Feburary. I got a bargain from Rick Heart by asking them to match or beat ApplianceOnline.com.au. This is the top of the line with the touch control setting and it uses the same amount of energy to those without. It has a quick chill function to chill wine or other drinks. Space wise is big enough. I love the design of it as it is very elegant and stylish. The main consideration was the energy star rating was fantastic. Everything, The design is simple and nice. Very good on energy as well none. price maybe could be cheaper?

Excellent – This is a very nice fridge with solid glass shelves and bottle holders, the surfaces of the fridge are easy to clean and it is very nicely lit from inside. This was the top of the line fridge when we bought it about 18 months ago and it had just been released. It has electronic controls and is one of the most energy efficient on the market because it uses some kind of new technology. The temperature control is very efficient and the vegetable crispers work very well. It also has really well thought out ice trays. Even though we got the price reduced as much as we could it still cost us over $1800 but in every way it was worth it. The only snag happened with the finish on the doors. It is stainless steel and when we unpacked ours at home there were polish marks on the surface that ran counter to the grain. We had this changed under warranty (both doors were replaced with new ones).

Apart from this glitch we have had no problems and would happily recommend it to anyone.

The only snag was Its stylish, large, well laid out. Works flawlessly and is energy efficient The quality out of the factory was not too good.
