Very Happy – This oven has served the family of 4 over the last 14yrs. i read with interest the other reviews and can proudly say my oven has worked faultlessly in the time we`ve had it. Absolutely no complaint until now that the error code F08 has come up. While the main board is available the fascia panel that connects to it isn`t, so off to buy another oven. Show details
Oven now 12 years old and still runs perfectly – I'm only posting this review having read and been surprised by some of the negative reviews on this Electrolux oven. Ours is now 12 years old, is used very regularly (family of 5) and has not let us down ever. About 12 months ago the fan started to make a bit of noise... but i'm handy with the tools so i just pulled the unit out and located… Read more
the fan unit, gave it a clean and light spray with some high temp lubricant and put back together. Perfect again! Have never had any issues with maintaining set temps and the bottom over heats up VERY fast. Top oven little bit longer due to larger capacity. We're putting in a new 35k kitchen and at the moment there's absolutely no reason to get rid of this oven.
Only downside is cleaning is a messy / fiddly job.
Worst oven I have ever owned – Really hopeless oven. Looks nice. Does not heat up above 200C. I have just spent $700 replacing heat sensors and the front plate. It takes an entire hour to get to top temp so making something like pork crackling is not possible in this. I note Electrolux have discontinued it but that doesn't help me. This oven cost nearly four grand and I will be replacing it as soon as I can. Show details

once i solved the door lock problem it was perfect – This has been a perfect addition to my renovated kitchen - great oven, does all I want from an oven, bought it for $100 from a disgruntled original owner who had to use a broom to keep the door shut for the first 6 months then just gave up, I fixed the door problem, and its been great for the last 12 months. Happy with this Oven – I purchased this 1 1/2 wall oven nearly three years ago. I chose this 600mm oven for its size because it is a little wider internally than the European ovens (and F & P) and for its appearance. I could have chosen the model which replaced it but preferred the handles and price of the older model. It has required minimal cleaning and is easy… Read more
to clean..
It cooks pretty evenly (a little bit more in the back right hand side) and the controls are very easy to operate. As I usually cook a single casserole dish, tray or bake a cake, I mostly use the smaller oven. I would have preferred it to be above the full size one instead of below. The half oven has less functions than the main oven and unfortunately doesn't have a "fan only" function.
Overall, I am very happy with this oven and would recommend it.
Looks Great, easy to use, but computer issues – I have found this oven to work well, and is easy to use, even for my hubby. Unfortunately one week after my warranty expired (from purchase date, delivery was later date) the cooling fan failed to turn off, so i had to switch the main power switch off to reset the oven. The oven failed to heat next time i used it. I turned the main switch off… Read more · 1
again, turned it back on, and we were back in business.
Thinking that the oven was 3 years old (it was actually 4) and that my extended warranty was still current, I didn't rush to get this incident checked out. So now that the same thing has occured 4 months later, and I need a new circuit board fitted. I find that my warranty has actually expired! (I thought I had 5 years, but was actually 2+2 on my paperwork :(
I was sold a 2 year extended warranty from a 3rd party. If i had been made aware that I could get a 3 year extended warranty from Electrolux at a cheaper price than the 2 year one I was sold, I would still be covered by the warranty. I spoke to the retailer i bought the oven from this week, they said they were not aware that Electrolux had an extended warranty......
I would buy this oven again, but i would get the Electrolux extended warranty, not the 3rd party warranty offered by retailers.

Disappointed – Turned the oven on for the first time today the top oven was smoking smelt of burning plastic and the light went off. The controls on the front of the over were too hot to touch along with the front of the oven. Completely gutted as have waited with the ovens in storage till will moved in to our new place and now we can't use it. Show details
Glad I'm not imagining things! – Just bought a house with one of these installed and thought...gee looks like a nice new oven, can't wait to cook in it...but now I avoid cooking in it as everything takes about 10 times longer than any other oven I've come across...tried many 'functions'but none are better than others...it takes an eternity to cook/heat anything despite me… Read more
manually using 250° for pretty much everything. Might have to upgrade as this oven is terrible...needless to say I'll avoid Electrolux!
Another lemon Electrolux - Maybe we should start a class action – Anyone interested in a class action? Same story as previous posters. The top oven in particular, is a horror story. It is virtually unusable as it spews all of the heat out because it doesn't seal properly. I foolishly just assumed that it took a lot, and I mean heaps, longer to cook anything because it was a bigger oven. Of course I didn't… Read more
realise that it was really a seal fault until the warranty had expired - isn't that always the way?
I have struggled with this top oven and watched the electricity dollars dissipating into thin air, not to mention roasts and cakes that won't bake or brown properly.
Because of this we have mostly struggled along with the bottom small oven, but as mentioned below it's true that although it is fan forced, trays have to be turned around as it cooks unevenly.
There is obviously a huge problem with this Electrolux oven. I'm annoyed at wasting hard earned money on it.

Don't buy Electrolux – Same story as many others.I have had nothing but trouble with my EUEE63AS double oven from the outset. It throws out huge amount of heat. Great puffs of steam billow out and fill the kitchen when the door is opened. It burns on the bottom when using lower shelves and burns on the top when using higher shelves. Although it is fan forced, trays… Read more
still have to be turned around as it cooks unevenly. I had the technician out several times and they said there was nothing wrong with it so I gave up calling them. Eight years later I am giving up and replacing it with another brand. I would not touch an Electrolux brand again even though it is Australian made, which is one of the reasons I bought it. There are many reviews that match my complaints.
Soo frustrated and disappointed!!! – We decided to purchase what we thought was a quality product. 4 years ago we Designed and Built our whole kitchen around the Electrolux duo oven and Electrolux induction cooktop. I hardly use the top large section (only at Christmas) and loved using the bottom small oven. It's only been 4 years old and within 2 weeks, both top and bottom oven… Read more
have stopped working. You would think that such an expensive oven would last longer than 4 years. I have been a loyal Electrolux customer and am now hugely disappointed. This oven is now discointined! Someone better be able to fix it, otherwise it's going to be hard to find the exact size oven to fit in our hole!! soo disappointed!

Regret the day we ever bought this – Same story here as most other people I'm afraid. We have an EUEE63AS double wall oven that we bought new a few years ago and both the cooks in this house are bitterly disappointed with the thing. It takes *ages* to heat up, has trouble maintaining temperature, it spews out an enormous amount of heat making the kitchen very hot, and it gets… Read more

Absolutely horrific – This has been the worst oven I have ever had in 50 years of cooking Temperature is not correct - at least 20 degrees above what I used to cook at and what is recommended in the instructions A wave of heat hitting me in the face the moment I open the oven door, it's extremely dangerous and my daughter nearly burnt her face Doesn't cooking evenly… Read more

Awful oven – This oven has been a terrible purchase. I can never get cakes cooked properly and some things brown and others don't. It is now 4 years old and while cooking in both ovens on Christmas Day it just stopped working. Don't feel like even getting it fixed, just replaced with a better brand. Terribly disappointed with the quality. Have also got an… Read more

worst oven ever - – This oven was a disappointment from the beginning and has never kept temperature. Immediately after purchasing this oven a service engineer was called as the temperature would fluctuate 40 - 60 degrees, impossible to bake with. or so despite my oven thermometers indicating otherwise. I Only ever use the casserole programme with varied success. It always needs longer and hotter than any recipe suggests, pot luck really. Well done for discontinuing what appears to have been an unreliable product. I will never buy ANY further Electrolux Products. Will replace it once I can afford to do so.

Here we go again – Bought this oven 3 years ago. The second new Electrolux oven I've had. The first one had two issues with the electrical board, which were repaired under warranty, then the glass door exploded. For some reason I felt buying another one when we moved was a good idea. Oh dear. The main oven started playing up about a year ago - occasionally… Read more
not heating up. It stopped working altogether about two months ago. I really think paying around $2000 for an appliance should give you more that 3 years of reliable service. I won't buy Electrolux again.

This oven is a dud - it does not retain heat. Impossible to cook – I have an Electrolux oven EUEE63AS*41. I believe that the top oven is faulty. First, the temperature selection does not match the heat in the top oven. Secondly, the top oven does not retain its heat. This means that I am not able to cook ordinary food like cakes and roast potatoes. It is impossible to cook a slow roast. I tried yet again… Read more
to cook a lamb shoulder last night. I cooked it for 6 hours last night at 140 degrees C. It did not cook at all during that time. The meal was ruined and a $35 piece of meat went to waste.
An Electrolux representative attended at my home on 5 January 2015 to examine the problem. I was charged $134. The attendant adjusted the door hinges of the oven.
The problem with the heating of the oven continued. I arranged for Electrolux to return to re-inspect the oven. A representative attended my home on 1 October 2015. I cannot remember the fee I paid on this occasion. He found that there was a fault.
The attendant returned to my home on 12 October 2015. He replaced the control clock, the control board and the main sensor. The parts costs $308 and I was charged a call out fee of $95. Those parts have a one year warranty on them
I called Electrolux again in June 2016 to explain problem continued. The representative advised me that while the new parts were still under warranty, I would nevertheless be charged a $145 call out fee even if the parts that had been supplied to me were faulty. This does not appear to be appropriate.
I have had so many Electrolux inspections of the oven and still the problem with the heating continues. I can only conclude that there must be an irreparable fault with the oven.

Awful oven – Inherited this oven when we moved house last year. As others have said it looks pretty but is awful. Temp is always 40-50 degrees lower than the setting on the front. Takes for ever to cook - or doesn't. Was going to replace thermostats but from reading other reviews that seems pointless. Going to pull it out and put in the 20 year old kleenmaid… Read more
we brought from our last house. Won't be buying Electrolux in the future. If this was a car they would all have been recalled by now.
WORST OVEN I HAVE EVER OWNED..SHAME ON YOU ELECTROLUX! – I bought this oven thinking it would be fabulous as it cost a fortune. Unfortunately the oven does not perform the way I thought it would. The main reason apart from the top oven door doesn't close correctly and lets heat out when cooking. At 200 degrees the oven temperature is actually 150 degrees, the reason everything takes so long to cook if… Read more
at all, usually to save the hassle, I use my large convection oven instead. The bottom oven is better but still doesn't reach the correct temperature. I thought it must have been the thermostats, but no such luck, so far, I have even replaced the control board and relays but it made no difference. Well I won't by Electrolux again.
Oven door @&$& – The top oven door will not close correctly, hence the ovens performance is bad! Uneven cooking, have cleaned in between the hinge, but no change. Top stays open around a 1cm, I can't find any adjustments on the hinge mechanism. The bottom door works fine. Also the top oven bulb blew and I replaced the bulb, this blew again with a bang and an… Read more
electrical flash only 3 months later I called the tech, he said the failure has damaged some internals so we can not have a light in the oven any more.
Far from perfect – This cooker doesn't cook very well.. the heat distribution is so poor we bought a seperate thermometer as we thought it wasn't reaching temperature.. it is but cooks very unevenly. The door doesn't close properly and the light bulbs constantly blow. I even managed to put it into display setting of which there is no mention in the manual.. luckily found it on the internet. Overall pretty poor.

Oven Door Won't Close Properly – I have problem with the oven door and it won't close properly. I am surprised that many Electrolux oven owners had the same complaints about the door. I can't see when it can be adjusted but I am concerned that it will cost a lot of money to get it… Read more
repaired and the problem will happen again especially if it is a design issue. The best solution so far is to put a chair against the oven door. I am so disappointed with the Electrolux oven door which would otherwise be a good oven.

Worst Oven Ever – Never at the correct temperature. Roasting is poor always steamy, used another thermometer oven temp says 210 manual one sits on approximately 150. Have had the elements checked, all functioning correctly. Will not get these products ever again. Was rated highly by choice when we bought won't bother with that website again either.

they need to be cooked for a specific time. It makes me feel better knowing I"m not the only one with the same fault but I definitely will be replacing the oven to keep me sane.
Unhappy with this oven – Bought this oven in 2009 and a 5yr Warranty. Had problems with the led panel, just cant read anything but the clock. Just out of warranty and no one wants to help and being a known common complaint and discontinued product, we feel Electrolux should replace panel free of charge.
Love my Electrolux Eline oven – I love all the cooking functions available & you still have the ability to change the temperature. I roast, bake, grill all with great results. I also love the delay feature - perfect when I want to go for a run, but come home to the smells of my dinner cooking.
Love this oven – I have been nothing but happy with my Electrolux dual oven. It has not skipped a beat and I have not had any problems with it. We are about to move house and I've ordered the updated model for my next house because I've been so impressed with it. I never had problems with crisping or steam coming out of it. Perhaps I was lucky, but it worked way… Read more
better than the St George oven I replaced it with. If you are looking to buy a second hand one of these ovens (since they are now discontinued) I would recommend it.
Worst & Most dangerous oven – Ever since installed new in 2012 this oven will not crisp anything- can't do a roast, roast vegetables, etc. Cakes & desserts are fine. When I open the oven door loads of hot steam pours out into my face & it would be very easy to get major burns - doesn't matter what setting it is on. SO disappointing & dangerous. Love cooking & thought the size & 1 1/2 ovens would be fantastic but mostly just do casseroles now!

A big fat dud – this oven is crap! I bought it Dec 2010 and had the service team come out about a month later to replace the front panel. i mentioned that it was heating about 20 degrees different to the panel, but was informed that the industry standard is plus or minus 20 degrees, even for a new oven. temperature was fluctuating wildly between 150-210 when set at 160! This time they replaced the thermostat. The oven has never heated evenly, with a really bad hot spot in the back bottom of the oven even with fan forced on. The fluctuations still happen and i have them coming again this week to possibly replace the fan. If i have it on normal oven, it gets really smokey. I rarely use the bottom small oven as it burns everything on the bottom no matter what setting. Glad i bought the extended warrranty, but it has never worked consistently from day one. A big fat lemon.

Never touch Electrolux – Purchased double oven 2008 didn't work accordingly. Huge issues with Electolux replaced with new oven and new oven does the same thing. dissatisfied reviews and that I could ask Electrolux to replace the oven, but they won't do it.
He also told me that there was a batch problem with some of the circuit boards that contain the thermostat and it seems that we were 'lucky' enough to have these as our initial install as well as our replacements from servicing.
He tested the temperature and confirmed that it was not heating to the correct temperature.
He also told me how it works (when it is working correctly), where the oven will heat to around 10-12 degrees hotter than set and then will cut out until it drops to about 10-12 below set and keep see-sawing to maintain an average of the temperature set.
Anyhow, I never offered to pay for this latest visit from the technician and he never asked me (seems like we are becoming old friends after four visits). He changed the circuit board once again and the oven seems to be working fine now for the past month or so, fingers crossed.

Really Poor Product – My double oven was chosen after quite a bit of research and on the recommendation of the sales lady who claimed she has one just like it I read and re-read instruction book, I thought it was me that was the problem. I have been cooking for over 30 years which comes pale and not cooked through. Forget trying to cook a roast. I am sick of having to hover around the oven and guess what and how much to advance time/temp in the hope of a successful outcome. My old Simpson was a true set and forget. Not this oven. I have used an oven thermometer to check and every recipe needs the temperature to be increased and/or cooked for longer than recipe instructions.
Epic fail Electrolux. Think you need to start to refund for this lemon. There are a lot of similar complaints and under consumer law the product does not perform as per its stated purpose.

Enough is enough! – I have been using this duo oven since 2008 (paid over $3000) and finally my patience has run out! Electrolux service people twice and both times I'm told it works to specifications. Well it doesn't! I don't believe that in all that time I've cooked a roast that has been ready on time or anywhere near it. Very embarrassing if one has guests for dinner. Always have to boost the temp (250) just to brown the potatoes. The only thing I've liked about it is the fact that cooking time is programmable. Yesterday I said to myself, 'Enough is enough' and I bought a Meile.
Fantastic Oven – Fantastic oven. Works well. Looks great. Easy to use. Great Australian Made product. Would buy again and again and again.
