Pros: Quiet, good suction
Cons: Don't last so they are expensive based on number of reliable service years
Overall: When working they work great, suck well, quiet and look to be well built. After two years they develop random faults and with all the wiring to the control panel on the wand and power head I'm not surprised. Wand failed first inside warranty and was replaced. Then power head failed and I had to purchase a new one. Now power head cuts out all the time and the vacuum cleaner just turns itself off randomly. Also at points of connection plastic is cracking away.I'm off to buy a Dyson!

Pros: Very efficient, yet quiet. Nowadays there is this big hoo-ha about eco models and energy efficiency, despite the 2200W declared, I vacuum on middle setting and the machine takes about half as much power, while showing excellent results, well compares to eco models.
Cons: A little heavy, take this into account if you have to carry it upstairs etc.
Overall: Not sure why people don't like it, as mine is an absolute jem! Very efficient, maneuverable with well thought-through rubber bumpers. Never had any hassles with it.

Pros: I loved all the features the hepa rating the quietness of it and the power head. I loved the performance of the machine seemed great while it was working.
Cons: who wants a machine that stops working after owning it for just 1 hour!!! aside from its operational faults the design of the handle where it is placed is awkward. When i was checking the bag i didn't like the way the cabinet opened up you could barely access the bag and i found that awkward as well. I would like my money back or exchange for a different machine all together.
Overall: I just bought this electrolux ultraone home from HN yesterday afternoon and was happy with my purchase at first. I took it home hooked it up started using it loved the quietness of it and the suction cabailities. I decided to give the power head a try and loved that. Then all of a sudden it just cut out. I switched it off and back on and it starts the computer goes through the settings on the machine and then it centres on Automatic but then it just cuts out and goes dead. I looked through the manual again for trouble shooting nothing. I couldn't believe it i only had the machine for an hour before it cut out so I am going to take it back first thing morning.

Pros: powerful, quiet - a pleasure to use.
Overall: Very powerful and quiet vacuum which just about pulls the fibres out of the carpet. I lusted after the model with the powerhead and the remote control but ended up getting the model below for just over $400 from Myer. It has the same body but just not the powerhead, the remote control or auto suction control. In practice I don't miss any of those features as the very strong suction, whisper quiet operation, easy rolling and the long cord are on the 21P. The handle is great and is easy to adjust it all simply clicks together easily. I tried a Dyson and it felt like it was made from lego and flimsy - the Electrolux is solidly built. A mate has an old version of the top model (with the remote etc) and it has been reliable for the time he has had it (10+ years).

I just about look forward to vacuuming the place now!

Pros: Powerful suction with auto power control. It got even the most ingrained dirt and dust out. The synthetic bags lasted a long time before they needed replacing. The 3 in 1 tool was handy, it also came with a hard floor tool which was great for wood floors. Notice how I'm writing all of this in past tense? Well...
Cons: Reliability let the whole appliance down. For third and last time it has broken down. The powerhead has stopped working, and only works when you press the powerhead release button! The first time it broke the motor would randomly cut out, the same with the powerhead. Also the 3 in 1 tool broke. The second time the 3 in 1 tool hatch and bag compartment button broke off, and the 3 in 1 tool broke again. The tool can just not withstand heavy use when cleaning a car or vacuuming stairs. I'm taking it back and demanding my money back and then going to by a Miele. For something that cost NZ$787 it should not break down 3 times in just over a year! Consumer NZ rated Electrolux 'below average reliability' across the board for their range of appliances. They may seem well designed and functional at first, but their appliances cannot withstand day to day use. Friends of mine have had bad experiences with Electrolux products also, and the reviews on here tell me alot more people have too. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Overall: It was a great vacuum cleaner. The powerhead and powerful suction got my carpet so clean, however reliability was the downfall with this appiance. Looking at the reviews on here for Electrolux products, all their products seem very unreliable!

Pros: Extra long cord which means I can vacuum my whole house without having to move it. Heaps of soft bumpers on the edges so you dont damage walls or furniture when you knock them with the barrel. The wheels on the barrel are fast and accurate, so easy to manouvre. Brush attachment for hard floors is great as is all-in-one attachment. Ultra quiet machine as advertised but does not compromise suction or power.
Cons: Doesn't really have any cons. Minor things that bug me are the buttons on the remote have to be pressed quite hard and only in certain spots to work. The cable is slow to wind up and seems to get stuck in certain spots. The hose is really long which is great but means its difficult to store. The power head leaves lines in the carpet.
Overall: I have had the UltraOne for 18 months now and absolutely love it, have never had an problems with it. I purchased it for around $600 and got a few bags and filters thrown in for free, my sister also bought one and loves hers too.
