Corrupt Thieves and compulsive liers – We ordered and paid $1500 for a set of binoculars 8 weeks ago and were told they would be shipped that day. Eight weeks later and after 100's of emails and phone calls we have no binoculars and no promised refund. We are now getting Consumer Affairs and Lawyers involved. Latest excuse is that their "Merchant Bank" is the problem. Trust me, its… Read more

not the "Merchant Bank", it is the lying deceitful thieves at this terrible company who are the problem. What a terrible company to deal with. Don't touch them with a 10 foot barge pole.

Electronic Bazaar – I needed an particular camera urgently and called these theives to ask if they had it in stock as I needed for a job. Terrible. The worst of the worst – Terrible. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. Why didn’t I read any reviews before ordering? Huge saga, but to summarize: I ordered 5 smartphones. Was told that they were in stock (very important to me as I needed them ASAP) and I was assured they would ship from their Melbourne warehouse. Due to the order value they suggested I pay $65 extra for… Read more

postage insurance which I did. They also took more from my credit card than they said they would and I’ve never received a refund for the extra amount. I was promised a tracking number. After numerous requests from me I received the incorrect tracking numbers. The devices took 1 ½ weeks to arrive. They had all been opened, were dusty and had fingerprints on them. One of the 5 was locked to T-Mobile which I don’t even think exists in Australia so we have not been able to use this device. For a couple of weeks they promised me a code to unlock this one so we could use it (I was contacting them daily). No code has ever turned up. I have asked for a refund for it and they just say they will send the code ‘within 24 hours’. Does not happen.

Worst service I’ve ever had from an online store. They lied to me several times (when the devices turned up 2 of them were still in Bubble-wrap with an address label and dates showing they had been shipped over from Hong Kong after I ordered them. They ignored most emails from me after the devices had been ordered. They have never sent me an invoice for the insurance charge which they took separately from my Credit Card. I am left with a $500 second-hand smartphone which wont work in Australia (so am $500 out of pocket). The list goes on but I want to leave this experience behind and get on with my life so I shall stop now. Suffice to say – run in the opposite direction rather than buying from these crooks.

Great experience – I looked at a couple of review sites before buying from Electronic Bazaar, I noticed a lot of bad reviews, but I saw worse ones on other companies so I gave these guys a chance. I am happy that I did as the product arrived in a timely manner and in good condition as it was well packaged. I will say they were not "the cheapest" but the cheapest… Read more

Efficient Service – I have seen very bad reviews but Electronic Bazar did an excellent job. I order my Galaxy Note 32 GB 4G Lte Part no P 605 in night of 2nd January 2014 and they assure me that the item will be delivered on or before 8th January 2014. I received the item on 6th morning where as other on line dealers could not provide a delivery date before 9th January. All bad reviews available online proved wrong. Reasonable price

Fraud from start to finish – Electronics Bazaar trading habits border on fraudulent...no they are fraudulent. UPDATE: A supposedly new Asus G74SX laptop in May 2011 took almost 3 months to arrive, and only days after I'd threatened them with consumer affairs ombudsman intervention. By early 2012 the laptop had been to a technician to remove a dead hard disk (which… Read more

was not new) technician advising the machine was also most definitely

not new, citing obvious rust and corrosion on/in every I/O port

and many internal components.

The dead hard disk even had a marking pen notation 'fault'.

After a pandered life, the machine has finally decided to not work anymore.

Why I didn't return the machine? After waiting almost 3 months, wasn't prepared

to have nothing, so hung onto it.

Do yourself a favour, be very wary of any online purchases and definitely don't

order anything from these cheating Electronics Bazaar liars.

Unconcionable liars and cheats – We are going after these loathsome crooks for mail fraud after they billed and charged for a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro ultrabook with 8GB RAM but only provided 4GB RAM on a promised delivery that was delayed for weeks after blatantly lying about immediate availability and dispatch. Dreadful - buyer beware!! – Ordered an Ultrabook for over AUD 2,200. They took the money and also sent a $0.02 and $0.03 refund to my credit card (to check I was a using my own card). 3 days later I get the following message "I got a bad news from warehouse that the last item which was in stock had some technical fault & the bad thing is ETA of new stock is approx. 2-3… Read more

weeks". They offered a refund, a more expensive item or I could wait. I decided to wait as I could not be bothered re-doing all my research and was not interested in paying the extra. The item did not arrive in the 3 weeks so I wrote to them. As a response they replied that the item was now more expensive. I begrudgingly paid the extra $177. It took another 3 weeks until delivery (yay! I did get the item eventually 6 weeks after initial order) but it came with an American power cord when I ordered it from a .com.au webiste. I'm annoyed at the fact that so I wrote a complaining email - no reply yet - and tried calling the Australian number in Melbourne but no answer. Now have to wait until I get a plug adapter before I can use it. So buyer beware!!!

PS - Also wish I had read the reviews beforehand - bummer. Assume it's a great product - lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon i7-3667u - when I get to use it Bad sales experience

Did not deliver order – Really bad service. I ordered an Up24 and of course paid for it. 4 months later despite numerous phone calls and emails I still have not received the UP24 or a refund. They just don't answer either their phone or emails. Most disappointing especially as Up 24's are now available much cheaper.

Buyer Beware! – Like many others on this website and other forums I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I ordered a Samsung tablet given it was advertised as "in stock". been received by them but was faulty and they had to order a new one. After waiting nearly 3 weeks, I eventually got through to them by telephone. I was told that they had the stock and I would have it by next week. I questioned if this was definite and the reply was 90%!. In the same conversation the 90% turned into no we don't have any suitable stock and I was offered a refund.

In their favour I received an immediate refund so I am happy about that. I now just need to find a company that is reliable! Quick refund Poorly run business - not transparent, misleading information given.

Waste of time – Ordered a Nexus 10 one month ago and hasn't arrived. After a few attempts to contact them, they said the product was not in stock. Awful, liars!! – Please don't allow their smooth talking of assured quick delivery and genuine parts coax you into handing over your cash. Lied again, does their "Australian Warranty" claim really mean what it suggests? – A camera I purchased for them in August broke (which of course was not their fault). despite several emails following up, and promises like they would 'definitely' get back to me in 24 hours, all in all, three weeks has now passed, and I have nothing - no advise as to how and when they will refund (if they really intend to keep their commitment?).

One of the reasons I initially purchased through them was they boasted about their "Australian Warranty", however if I am told to get it fixed, and then they go silent when I am after a refund for the costs of getting it fixed, what use is this claim?

Bad warranty service, do not follow up

overseas so I needed delivery or my money back. My card was debited straight away, rather than when the lens was shipped. The Seller told me that I'd receive an email by the end of the day with the tracking number. It didn't come, nor the next day. I called and asked what was happening, and told the seller that I needed a refund if he wasn't able to deliver.

He did some ringing around (apparently), and couldn't find a supplier that had the lens in stock (so much for there being two in stock), and after calling him two more times that day he issued a refund.I got an email of the refund receipt straight away, for which I was grateful. The refund took 5 days to hit my account, leaving me with no time to organise another lens before my trip, but at least I had my money back.

Big mistake not to review sellers before purchase, I broke my own rule and was lucky to get my money back!

The seller did answer the phone each time I called, so I also feel lucky about that given a lot of the reviews on here that I've read. Issued a refund when requested, and it did arrive eventually. Promise of delivery that could be met, took 5 days for refund to arrive in my account

Never use them please, had problems from the start – I have been ripped from this retail/online store called - Electronic Bazaar. It has been an ongoing ordeal since last August 2012 and I still have yet to receive my refund back from this business worth $2800.00 roughly. Sent an open and what looked like definitely used laptop. I purchased a high end Alienware laptop from these guys - had scratches… Read more

on it and was open destroyed seal packaging. Massive and a very noticeable deep scratch to the laptops even a legally blind person from a 100 metres distance would have seen those scratches. The retailer said he will have it picked up and send a new one ..... roughly 10 days later after repeatedly calling them back they said that they cannot have it picked up and that if I want I will have to send it back to them. I said that I just want the money back and avoid all this head and heart ache .... Mind you I'm interstate and it costed me $60.00 inclusive of insurance to send it back to Melbourne. The address he asked me to send it back to was his suppliers so I sent it there. after 10-15 days repeatedly calling he called back saying he said that he has replaced the laptop and already couriered it to me. I said I wanted a refund not replacement!!! I thought to myself ok I give him another chance ... his so called express courier was a flimsy very sidey courier company and after 3 days had to go pick up the laptop myself from there office a 1 hour sideline drive outside of my route back home! anyways opened the box same box with broken seal and what do you know same laptop and same scratch starting at me!! At the exact same place ..... there were other places with scratches which had been replaced neatly anyways I took pictures of this and sent it to the retailer he said he couldnt see them!!!! Oh my, I couldnt believe him I said I now just want the refund thats all.... he said ok pack it and that he will have it picked up without any cost and refunded. I closed packed the box and took more pictures. 4-5 days of repeatedly calling him I finally get to hear the same excuse from him that he cannot have it picked up and that if I wanted quick processing I will have to have it couriered to them. I thought to myself just get it done with ...... I again sent the courier back to him same cost including insurance. This time I had to borrow money from my fiance's mom just thinking I will get the money back instantly ... worst mistake! I have lodged a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria and hoping for a best outcome because its been 15 days since I sent it and all I hear is that the supplier will refund the money and then I will get it!!! I dont get this I gave the money to the retailer not his supplier why should I have to wait for his supplier to give me the money back to me??? I was dealing with the retailer directly and getting the money back should be between me and him not 4th or 5th person. Its simple if I had borrowed money from this retailer he would expect it from me not my mate would he then? Please refrain advertising this bussiness on your website people are getting misled here!!!
