Fisher Paykel cooktop – My cooktop failed to operate just out of warranty. They should never have been put on the market. DON'T BUY one. I also had a dishwasher they are a throw away item repairer said cost to fix would exceed purchase price of a better cheaper washer. The cheaper machines from Bunnings are more reliable.

Good – Looks good, iridium finish matches the other appliances, it's quick to heat and easy to use. It has a child lock function and you need to use two fingers to turn it off, so it's hard to accidently turn it while cooking. The soft touch buttons and the low profile - you can use it for extra bench space. It's really fast to heat up and there is Hot warning that appears until the cooktop is cool to touch. First time with a cooktop and I'm not keen on the way the sausepans can slip around if you knock them. Can be tricky to clean when something sticks.
