Pros: It was easy to fill, I could move the racks around, I could rinse in between washes, and I didn't have to bend down to fill it. It never "smelled like a drain" I used the cheapest powder! No tablets.
Overall: Ten years ago as pensioners, we only needed one drawer. My son installed it easily we used it for five years before we moved to park home. My son slid it out of one hole and slid it straight into the prepared space in our new home. After a rinse,I wash bowls, casseroles etc.(after soaking),as well as plates cups etc.glasses and all cutlery,(Not saucepans)all in the one session.I have to say I soak off stuck on food stuff, I only wash once a day sometimes every other day.
We have only called out a repair man twice once after moving and the final one when the drawer decided not to open. The heating unit stopped working after ten years, to replace the unit and the control unit etc. etc. we decided to put it to rest. We have heard it grumbling over the last few weeks and were waiting for it to die. Our drawer never "smelled like a drain" we never had to give it a wash with special stuff, I never had to use special "tablets with sparkling centres etc". In fact I used the store's homebrand powder. I love it and I bought another one straight away!

Pros: Looks great, very convenient having 2 drawers - it's like having 2 half size dishwashers
Cons: It possibly doesn't get hot enough, plastic items are often quite wet when the cycle finishes
Overall: My husband actually claimed this dishwasher as his Valentine's Day present to me after it arrived on order on the day! It's turned out to be the best present ever! We absolutely love the convenience of the 2 drawers, it's perfect for our family of 4. We fill one drawer a day on average & love the fact that we can just run the washing cycle in one drawer each night.

Pros: Works well, convenient, quiet and attractive.
Overall: I rennovated my 70's kitchen in 2008 with a pair of F & P drawer dishwashers, side by side, that is, individual machines placed either side of the sink.
I love them as they are so convenient for loading and unloading.
In all that time they have been good workhorses, propably running at least 3 times a week each. One more than the other of course, due to its locality, near the cupboards and drawers!
They are so quiet and easy to maintain, simply wash the Shoe out every now and then. I love them.
So sorry to read that others have had so much trouble.
On my advice, my daughter purchased a single, 2 drawer unit and the mice ate the wiring, the only strife she has had, she loves hers too.

Pros: Looks good, easy to load unload
Cons: Doesn't work
Overall: After 5 years of frustration I turned to the Internet for answer only to find similar disappointed customers. I think the positive reviews might be questionable. This is a bad product period. It never worked. I had to call the tech out to fix numerous of issue including motor replaced during the warranty. After the warranty period we decided to wash by hands because every time we used the dishwasher, some time running it twice, we ended up rewashing it by hand. The water doesn't drain even after we made sure the blade runs freely. Is there any help out there? This is my single largest waste of money....big disappointment....do no buy this.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: doesn't do the job it's supposed to do - ie clean
Overall: This is probably one of the worst product purchases I have ever made and it's been compounded by extremely poor customer service. Instead of resolving the problem F&P have chosen to ignore it.

I was really excited to get the split draw system it was exactly what I was looking for.
However, the machine provides the worst wash I have ever experienced.

I'm using all the recommend cleaning products but nearly everything comes out dirty.

The machine was quite noisy when I first purchased it and F&P have replaced the motors (twice), in addition to try and resolve the poor quality of the cleaning they replaced the arms. While it's now quieter, it has made no difference to it's ability to clean.

F&P's follow up service has been incredibly poor - despite their service promise I've been waiting 12 days for them to call me back (that includes two follow calls of my own) still waiting........

Now I would like them to take it away........

Pros: Reliable, good design, easy to use
Cons: Electronic bug in one drawer
Overall: Really like this product. Never needed to have a service person to look at it until today - 13 years.

Having two drawers is such a big plus. My favourite is that you don't have to spend your time unpacking the dishwasher before you use it again - you use one drawer like an extra cupboard, so by the time you need to empty it, there's not much left to put away.

Negatives - bottom drawer electronics played up so that it jumped around when trying to select washing cycle. Got used to it, but a bit annoying. Good at cleaning greasy, mucky things, but filtration could be better for food particles like rice grains, crumbs and the like. I think Miele and some of the other brands might do better here, but for me the convenience of the double drawer wins hands down.

We now have its first failure, a thermostat on the bottom drawer, and given it is 13 years old, I am just going to buy an identical new one. I don't expect any appliance to last as long as it did. Also had a good fridge with Fisher and Paykel, so the brand seems good to me. Never been to New Zealand, by the way.
