persons household, usage for general dishes only as stainless steel pots & Crystal always done by hand. Unit was installed by Fisher & Paykel team in Feb 2024. From onset the inside always has pooled water on inside rim which was brushed off as condensation & told to use longer cycle however none of the cycles dried the interior & have to constantly wipe inside rim & drain cups etc on a tea towel. Just one week after 12 months expiry the circuitry went & luckily as good will gesture it was replaced free of charge as they found the component design to be faulty & upgraded it with new unit. As an Interior Designer my experience is there are better dishwasher at a much cheaper price however if its "Designer Look " then this model achieves that.

function stopped working totally. The machine began to give error codes as the impeller refused to stay on the shaft until I drilled a small hole through it and permanently glued it with a loctite product. Over time the machine began to be extremely noisy and eventually the pump failed totally. I would not recommend the product at all. Customer service simply did not want to know about it.
Seemed like a really good product, but just out of the warranty period… – Purchased this as part of our kitchen renovation and we haven't been disappointed. It works really well and the flexibility of having two drawers is… Read more
excellent.
This was expensive to buy at almost $1.8K but we feel that this reflects the good design and build quality. We are sure that it will last us a good time.
Edit: Just under 2 years after we purchased this we began to experience an intermittent issue with the top drawer and a recurring ‘A6’ error. It deteriorated earlier this year (2025) to such an extent that the top drawer became unusable. As it was then outside the warranty period we were obliged to pay over $300 for a service technician to diagnose and replace the failed water pump. We were NOT happy given how much we paid for this appliance and that the issue started while it was within the warranty period.
F&P subsequently agreed to reimburse the cost of the part and the labour ($134) but were not willing to cover the call out fee for the service technician to diagnose and quote for the repair ($199). We have accepted this, but NOT happily.

to stay in the house when we sold it so we went straight out at got another one in 2014. It got a lot of us, i mean a LOT over the years and served us well. So naturally we bought our 3rd one to replace it. Super quiet, in fact so quiet i didn't know it was washing at first, nice new features with the light up button, i do like it being on the outside so i can see what's going on without opening the draw, we are very happy.
