Very very disappointed with the machine as it has cost us a lot of money – This freezer was turned off and cleaned out after Christmas. We restocked the freezer with a large amount of meat and naturally turner the freezer back on. Went to get some meat out of it a few days later to find that all the meat had gone off. The freezer wasn't working but it was in perfect working order when we turned it off. I would expect to be able to turn something back on and it would be still working.
I am very angry and disappointed with this freezer.
Works as it should – Bought our chest freezer at least 8 years ago and it was still going strong until the dog pulled the wiring out 2 days ago. Even so, we only noticed this morning and everything was still frozen solid so we were able to save most of it by shoving it all into the larger upright freezer (also F&P). The chest freezer was full & this would have helped the temperature stability.
Poor thing can't be saved so we have to buy a new one. Next one will be larger.
Can't fault this freezer.
Good value freezer – Great price, good brand (made in NZ not China) does its job well, runs quietly, for a family of 2 would definitely buy again,
Good – We were looking for a low-price freezer and it has been great value for money, and we have not had any problems. Good price - $500 - and still working well after about five years. Easy to defrost. It is not noisy. The freezer light has been dodgy, sometimes on, sometimes off.
