Panic initially as no parcel tracking information sent and no response to email or phone message for a few days. Read the reviews here and feared the worst. But phone call came and package actually arrived within the week after it was ordered. Not a scam, just short staffed and prioritising delivering on time rather than communicating. Parcel arrived within the week in excellent condition. Very happy.

Why advertise items you aren’t going to deliver? – If zero was a possible score, I would have given zero. Ordered something because they had it ‘in stock’. Over 2 weeks now, with not even a tracking number. They’ve also not replied to two separate emails.

Great communication and very professional – Amazing staff and products. This is the best online board game shop! Thank you for being awesome and selling the best board games.

Item received on time – I ordered a game back on 2016 without any trouble, so I made an order at the beginning of Feb 2022. goods weren’t received, as the confirmation email did not include this detail. The email responses were obliging and friendly. I am thankful to have received the correct item I ordered and on time. I’m unsure what they are like on the whole, but my experience was positive.

send me a different game, free of charge and express post. Ill admit I was quite peeved about it, but I am so happy with how they handled it. And despite the stress of it being so close to Christmas, I am relieved they handled it so well. And I would recommend them to my friends as well.

Did not receive goods – Like others, I placed an order on the online store a month ago and have not heard back yet. Tried to contact them via e-mail, support ticket, and phone but to no avail. Unfortunately will have to go through the bank for a chargeback. Hoping that the ACCC does something about this

appalling company to use – do not order from this company. I tried to order a product, waited a month, heard nothing, emailed asking for a delivery date, heard nothing, and asked my credit card company for a refund. I then got a a nice phone call from the manager who apologised, said he was short staffed and gave me a refund.

Takes money and never receives goods or responds – Made an order and never received items. Have tried emailing numerous times and raising a dispute about nothing received not even a email saying sent or tracking number but still no response at all. Will have to go through my bank now to try get my money.

Took my money, delivered nothing – This was in September 2017. I ordered a board game through them for $120. They took my money and never delivered anything. I contacted them repeatedly. Eventually, Paypal forced them to refund my money 5 months after I initially ordered it.

Rude service – The shop in Pitt Street, Sydney has a fairly decent range of stock. I was happy to find the item I was after, when it wasn’t available at other stores. The experience was tainted though by a rude sales assistant. He was dismissive and made smart alec comments beneath his breath when he thought I couldn’t hear. Friendly and helpful staff, expensive products – I recently visited the Games Paradise store in Warringahl Mall, Brookvale, NSW. I have purchased items here before for a reasonable price (eg. Great staff, great price – I teach English and periodically go looking for word games. This is the only shop I've ever been in where staff were able to explain the difference between different categories of word games and discuss the suitability of each for different situations. customer service and follow through was excellent From my initial contact with a casual at the Wahroonga store.. to his follow through with a store manager Brett.. who relayed my exact needs to the online site.. which was then followed through with a return call from Brett as well as the online communication to the actual delivery less than 24 hours later Thank you so much Games Paradise - I know who to recommend when anyone else needs excellent customer service like this

ratings and articles that it was a scam site. However, given that the reviews were years ago and the store is apparently under new management, I (reluctantly and very anxiously) decided to give them a chance. Well, they arrived! Safely and securely packaged, all brand new and with aus post tracking. The order was dispatched first thing Monday morning and arrived Wednesday morning, NSW to QLD. I'm very relieved and happy with the whole process, so will definitely order again in the future (perhaps still slightly apprehensively but just to be sure). I couldn't fault a single thing. Do not buy from games paradise – Terrible service, ordered online, only 2 of the 5 items i ordered were actually instock despite their website saying otherwise. After 2-3 months of waiting and many phone calls to kind but usless phone operators only 4 of the 5 items i ordered arrived and 1 had some damage.

It is hard to believe that they have made such a significant turn-around in their business but i am pleased to report that this is my experience and i will be shopping with them again.

However I was very surprised when my order was shipped with tracking within 24 hours of placing my order and arrived well packaged in just under a week later.

Huge difference and I'm very very pleased with the change. Games Paradise in 2018, it's a yes from me.

Problem Solved – While my experience with the previous owners deserves 0 stars, the new owners helped assist in a matter of unsent goods that lasted 18 months. I did not get my refund but did get store credit. The items were sent promptly and there was good communication back and forth by email and phone. A great refreshing change seen from this company. I would definitely now buy fron them again.

Never Order from Games Paradise – They don't have the stock they say they do. They don't send you games they order. They put you off by saying it will be sent, but it isn't. delivered on Wednesday morning, which was great because I had wanted it by the weekend and had chosen to buy from Games Paradise because they promised 3 day delivery.

I only live a couple of suburbs away from the physical store, but was pleased with the experience and would buy from the online store again.

Pleasantly surprised – I have had a similar experience to many previous customers - ordered games in December, money taken, no goods received, numerous emails and promises and still no games. I saw the new Games Paradise website and contacted customer service about the pathetic performance of the previous management. They responded promptly. My games arrived today. People need to make their own judgement but I have had a very positive experience.

Avoid. They're thieves – Same as so many of the reviews on here. Ordered a game which was listed as in stock, queried them when it didn't arrive for 2 weeks; was told it'd be shipped the next day. After 3 months of further queries they just avoid responding to my emails now, so I'm left with no game but they took my money. Games Paradise are thieves.

without reason for delay, advised it would be posted on Monday. It was Wednesday. But I accepted that and waited.

Nothing came. So again I followed up and this time, no response.

I wrote again requesting a refund, and absolutely no acknowledgement of my email.

I lodged a complaint with my bank for product not received and they returned my money, but I have never heard from Games Paradise again.

I see they are under new management, so I hope whatever has happened to their business gets soughted out for new buyers, but take my story as warning and proceed with caution if you choose to buy.

Paid for three games received only two – I ordered four games 3 months ago. Was patient for 1,5 months but eventually decided to contact them. After waiting for another month I finally got the parcel with only three items. After I sent the next e-mail in relation to the missing game I got reply that they were out of order and just got it yesterday and they will send it to me. I am shocked - it is the worst online service I ever had even from England it would normally take a week!

Stole my money, pretended like they were under new management to get away with it – Zero stars. I preordered Gloomhaven 2nd Ed. from them last year. Never delivered. Checked their website and pretended like they were under new management. Contacted them again, said they'd only give me storecredit on what stores they do have. It's garbage. If you've been cheated by these people, bombard the ACCC with complaints and maybe they'll actually act. Don't trust them. Avoid at all cost. You'll eventually be burned.

by them and providing me with a tracking number. However after 4 business days Australia Post still hadn't received the package, according to the tracking website. This can only lead me to believe that Games Paradise had raised the order on Australia Post but had not provided them with the package. Requests for my money back have of course been met with silence.

Games Paradise is a sham.

No Service, Empty Promises – I received one item but the other couldn't be provided and was offered a refund but never got it now being stuffed around and made promise after promise after promise then never hear from them. Can't recommend them. Wish I has read the site reviews first!
