Terrible – This is my third GE fridge and it is the worst. If you don't believe how bad quality at GE has become look at the US complaint sites, they opened my eyes. The reason I was looking is because the compressor has blown and the electronics board has fried in the fridge, so we have no fridge at the moment. Insurance will pay for the compressor but not the rest so we are looking at more than $2000 in repairs. My suggestion if you are considering any of these profile fridges is don't, unless you get and pay for extended warranty and are prepared to throw the fridge away after 4/5 years, byt you will have to pay 6 to 8 thousand for one of these white elephants. I don't understand the early reviews of thes as you don't have to look far to find experiences similar to mine. Undeniable good looks and apparent quality trays but don't be fooled. The fact that the electronics failed within 3 months and had to be replaced. The fact that it cannot cope with hot and humid conditions (Sunshine Coast JAn-Feb)The bins are poorly designed and parts break, in a $6000 plus fridge! The water leaked and lifted tiles, apparently common issue , only good thing was an insurance claim that replaced the floor. The ice maker had continuous problems. These are made in Mexico and not anywhere near the quality of the US stuff.
Terrible – A very poor quality machine, you will see more of the repairman than your family, with often long waits for "PARTS" Looks OK Grossly unreliable-ice maker fails continually to dispense ice and the fan unit also failed meaning the frig did not work at all.
