Over technical and only lasted just under 3 years before giving motor error and setting my clypsal s – cleams well but too many options, doesnt allow you to set the 1200rpm was speed as part of a cycle which sucks meaning need to do it seperatly afterwards. cleans really well. only lasted just under 3 years (every other brand i have bought has lasted a min of 5 years) Show details
Give this one a miss – Mechanically there were no issues and it washed well. Default cycle for cotton/linen is 2 hours 12 minutes, hot water. Does not remember your last setting and no way to change the default. Have to turn off power to reset settings to set up cycle for next wash. The filter is at the bottom of the machine and water runs everywhere when you open it for cleaning. Spin cycle is noisy. Reminds me of a spinning jet engine.
Best Front Loader Ever After 50 Years Of Washing Clothes – Absolutely brilliant machine . It all comes down to the person using it read the instructions and follow them. Heavy or light loads they all come out clean and well rinsed Beats top loader any time. Spins with a balanced sound and fast .Can not fault as value for the money
Terrible – Had this 12months & then had nothing but trouble... Spin cycle, not working properly. Doesnt rinse towels very well. Now water doesnt even run into the detergent or fabric section, only in pre-rinse section... horrible horrible
Very happy – Having grown up with a top loader machine, that was what I was planning to buy, but after shopping around and having front loaders highly recommended, I thought I would give one a go. I had never heard of Haier before buying this machine. The sales rep recommended it and it was cheaper than the other brand one I was interested in. Having had this… Read more · 3
machine for 4years now, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking at purchasing a washing machine. I have never had a problem with it. It generally does one full load of washing a day, it's fast and washes nicely! Good load capacity for a family Like any front loader you can't add 'the missing sock' found under the bed during a wash cycle(surprise, surprise). Not really a con
excellent washing machine at such a low price! – It was so cheap!!(around $500AUD) and it works great!! what more could you want? i had never heard of haier before buying this machine, but the salesman at harvey norman recommended it, he told me its a cheap version of one of the better known manufacturers(i forget which)so i thought id give it a try. everything comes out clean for me, for… Read more
smaller loads of clothing i use the quick wash cycle as its only a half hour. plus everything comes out dry, so this cuts down dryer time.
i only use the long washes for towels, or if i have really really packed the machine full, as the long wash is really long, over 2 hours, but even then i just put it on before i go to work and its done when i get home. and the delay start function is great at these times, so as i get home its just finished and doesn't have that bad wet washing smell.
its so much better than the last one i had, which was a top loader which i had to get repaired 3 or four times in 5 years.
I LOVE MY HAIER! washes the clothes well, the price, economical detergent use, low water use, easy to use, delay start, clothes come out relatively dry the only complaint is that there is 2 very long cycles, and rest are very short, and nothing in the middle.
Great for the money! – I had a old - not really old Bosch before this, and this washes better, everything comes out clean, you can use the extra rinse cycle and it has a 39min quick wash which is brilliant. It's now backed up by Fisher and Paykel for warranty since they own part of Fisher and Paykel now. Yes, it's a Chinese made washing machine, but works better than… Read more
the German one I had before. I'm pleased and will be looking at a dryer very soon.
Also it's got a 1/2 wash cycle if you forget clothes too, this has been really helpful for me with kids and all! Best part was that I paid $499 for it at SA Appliance Warehouse in Adelaide - Bargain! Washes well, 1/2 load cycle and uses less water.
Makes my day easier – So after having major troubles with a $1000 Bosch I decided to opt for something cheap and cheerful since the other lasted 3 years. I figured I may as well get cheap if it will last that long. So I purchased one from SA Appliance Warehouse for $499 - brand new with 2 years warranty and I haven't had any problems in the past 6 months. It washes… Read more
like it should, dries clothes well and isn't too noisy either. It also has a TRUE COLD wash which is good for saving power too. Oh and the Quick 24 minute wash is all I use.
Overall very pleased with it - for the money I paid. Washes well, doesn't take too long for a wash. The interface for an electronic is very basic - I guess that makes it have less problems though.
Do not buy this! – Haier was recommended by the sales rep. We bought it within a few months it broke down, Haier were really not helpful. We had to do the running around to get it fixed. It took nearly 6 visits from one of the guys to fix it, and then it still didn't work. We had to wait 6 months before it was replaced. We had to use a laudromat to do all our… Read more
washing for that time. There was no apologies and they blatantly lied to me saying the new washing machine was on its way, then 3 weeks later saying that it has just been dispatched! Liars! we finally got the new machine after F&P took over the company. It doesn't wash properly. We hate it! Will never buy another Heier product again. The price and the higher load limit compared to others, but if you fill the machine up to that heavier load, it doesn't wash it properly. Everything! Especially the bad warranty service. Its noisy, still doesn't spin everytime at the end of the cycle, horrible machine. Can't wait til we have some money to buy a new machine - definately not from Haier or F&P!
Terrible – I have enjoyed the experience with this machine. Its washing method is superior to top loaders either agitator or impeller. A local retailer is not worth the paper he is written on, sales or service, and I will continue to shop where I want. The distributors of this machine now part owned by Haier are likely to come across with an upgraded… Read more
replacement as they should to comply with the consumer guarantees act. I have not had to initiate this myself. Even allowing for the festive season the fixing has taken long enough already for this course of action to be on the cards and it is pleasing to have the process started spontaneously by the repair man.
It has been interesting to be involved in efforts to try to make the machine good.
Having my own almost new spare washing machine in the shed to replace the defective one has allowed this to be a painless exercise. Mrs prefers the speed and convenience of the top loader but moans a bit when it so often does a poor job of the laundry though. The front load washing was much better than top loading. Today a washed thermal backed curtain washed and extra rinsed had soap discoloration still on it after our temporary top loader had finished with it. Possibly specific to this machine only, but from my position of ignorance, I will maintain my view stated in my second posting.
The 1070KFL will not be fixed. Control board, Motor and various tests have not resolved the problems.
It is a lemon.
Terrible – Don't waste your money, buy a known brand, one that you will work properly. If you try to reset the program, it doesn't restart properly. It doesn't fill with enough water to wash the clothes properly, especially if you attempt to wash a blanket. cheap, fast delivery, looks like a washing machine. If you try to reset the program, it doesn't… Read more

Excellent – I purchased one of these units for only $550 then got a $200 rebate from SA Water. So for the money I paid - it was excellent value and I can't tell the difference in the wash between my "old" 2 year old Electrolux and this. Washes well and has the extra rinse option. Quick wash is actually quick compared to other units. You can also choose the… Read more
water level as well by using ECO TIME and tell the machine how full it actually is. A little small looking inside even though it's 7kg. As long as it washes I don't care.
