Great Machine – I have had this machine for about 9 yrs now and have had no trouble at all. Just now the locking latch broke. $5.50 later working like a brnland new one. Best buy. Will by again when this one stops. Hopefully another 9 yrs still left in this one or more.  Show details

Crap Machine – I bought one of these machines 25/3/2008 for $600 and it only spins some of the times, they came 8/4/2008 and replaced the 'spin speed controller' but same issue continued, they came back 25/9/2008 and replaced the 'main control panel. Wont touch a Hair ever again. I have to drip dry my washing. Even if it is 6 years old only used by one person should be spinning out. For the $ expect it to spin out in all cycles. Spins irradiclly, water leaks over the floor when cleaning the filter, poor quality plastic as it discolours.

It's not even fantastic plastic! – I have only had the machine for a year, and i did extended warranty for another 3 years. i am without a washing machine. Never ever purchase Haier, they are rubbish!! Water usuage is quite low Loud, doesn't wash clothes well, faulty machine, need i go on?

Terrible – Absolute rubbish. Choice, which recommended this machine, should be sued. What good is a review that takes into account only a few uses at the beginning of a product's life? the closing mechanism was buggered. This meant that we had to slam it shut several times before it would work each time. As a result, the front window cracked. Now, just out of warranty, we've moved house and found a whole pile of black rubber 'dust' under the machine. The next time we tried to use it, in the new house, it flooded everywhere. Thus, it would appear that a seal has deteriorated. Given that it's going to cost a minimum of $200 to fix, and it's clearly a lemon, we're going to buy a new machine. So much for environmentally sound.

This washing machine has been nothing but trouble since i bought it 3 years ago – I bought 48 months extra warranty now its falling apart and the stupid company wont cover to replace the parts. washing machine as they were taking too long with the one i actually ordered so god knows how much trouble i would be having with that one. cheap bad warranty service, falling apart, noisy, leaky, crap hoses, very heavy to move, cycles too long on hot water.

Don't waste your money – After buying the Haier washing machine it was evident we should have invested more money into a different brand of washing machine. Contacted company still waiting to hear back. Bad warranty service, leaks, tangles clothes, doesn't drain properly, walks, Difficult to get to filter ( which is just a ring)

Bad – very unreliable, it seemed to break down every month, of that month 2 weeks were spent waiting for an engineer to come. it took 4 engineer call outs before they said they would replace the machine. after a lengthy conversation we were refunded. it did wash well continually broke down

Bad – I do not recommend this machine for purchase, despite the attractive price and water saving features. It's not well made. It uses very little water, cleans clothes well, easy to use interface, lots of options for different washes. cycle often doesn't finish and most importantly our first machine broke beyond repair within 3 months of purchase - the counterweight fell away. This has just happened again in the replacement machine (it lasted just over two years).

Terrible – I would never buy this machine. It vibrated the whole house would shake, it make such a terrible noise. The machine started to leak water after two and half years and then it just blew up. Excellent – I am very impressed with the value for money in this machine. It works perfectly, have never had a problem with it. Spin cycle is efficient and the user interface is very easy to use.

29min wash cycle is a godsend! Not much really, I can't fault it.

Bad – My machine broke its counter weight mounting for the wash drum after only 6 months of use. In my opinion the internal design lacks quality and I do not see longevity in this machine. Drain filter leaks excess water on to the floor & it occasionally leaks in other areas of the machine.

Terrible – I would not recommend the Haier HWM 1260K to anyone wanting a reliable machine. I should have considered looking at other brands. start with. BUT, the spin cycle on this one has now given up, the 2 year warranty is also up, even though I've only had the machine for 12 months and 2 weeks. Don't touch Haier with a bargepole!! Low water use Unreliable spin cycle. Can't clean filter without water draining everywhere. Warranty only from date of purchase, no extra warranty for replacement machine.
