wash not splash – twin tubs generally wash well, fast and efficent, this one just wants to get water everywhere. normal and gentle cycles were the same, when you put the lid on to stop water coming out, that water ended up draining on top of the clothes in the spinner so that made the spinner less effective. I now have the 10kg teco, that has it's own issues yet is a much better machine for similar price.

Not as good as my old Hitachi twin tub – When you read these reviews there is one common problem that owners have found with this machine. The agitator is far too vigorous for the size of the tub and unless you keep the lid on while washing, you'll find the water splashes everywhere. Apart from that fault, the machine works well and gives a thorough wash, and the spinner gets the… Read more

moisture out ready for the line or the dryer. Overall, I'm satisfied with it. Whether it will last as long as my 40 year old Hitachi machine( which still works and has been kept in reserve) remains to be seen.

Not as good as my last twin tub – The first time I used it I had two complaints. It splashed water and the spinner not balancing easily. I now have the lid on when washing. Its okay now. Show details

Does a great job! – I bought this machine for my elderly mum but have used it when visiting her. Having an automatic machine at home, I love using this machine. You can use the 'delicate' option ...and just a few litres of water to wash some small items. It washes well and very quickly compared to automatic set-timed models. I agree that there is some splashing on very small loads. My only criticism is that the spinner has to be loaded very evenly.  Show details

Happy enough now I've got it as i couldn't see it before i bought it.however would not buy this one – Good cleaning, quiet, however because washing side lid is not attached it is forever falling into machine, filter comes off side a lot. Water splashes to much to not have lid on so have to sit there happy otherwise but would buy one with washing lid attached next time. Kerry

The best washing machine I've ever had – After having top loaders with clothes destroying agitators and front loaders that dont last 12 months, I thought I'd go with an old fashion twin tub for a change. Twin tubs are by far the least time consuming, most water efficient and the best spin drying washing machines you can get. It's hard to get twin tubs and this one has a few minor faults… Read more

(too light, water splashes with light loads, flimsy lint collector) but for the price, I'm not complaining. I'd happily buy another.

should not be on the market for the price your better off paying a bit more and buy a decent machine – I agree with the other person, it splashes water every where, and the wwash selectter dores not work, to noisy, the neighbors can hear it down the street. Also it vibrates all over the room, I have tied mine to a hook on the wall. I don't advise anyone to buy one, they are over priced true value about 150 AUD.

Not Impressed – I've used twin tubs for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. I just bought the Haier and when washing the water hits the inside of the lid and leaks down the side and also the front of the machine. I have to put something on top of the lid to stop it. Can't wash with the lid off because the floor gets wet. Doesn't hold as much washing as other models and I would never buy this model again. Very disappointed.

Great for saving water and electricity – I bought this twin tub when we moved to a property with tank water. If you don't mind standing near the washing machine and getting your hands wet, you will not only save water and electricity but time as well! In less than an hour, I have used half as much water as automatic washing machines, less electricity and finished at least 3 loads of… Read more

washing, ready to be hung on the line. The only down side is that the filter keeps getting knocked out by the clothes. If they could fix that issue, it'd be perfect! inexpensive, total control of water usage and can reduce electricity consumption. lint filter keeps getting knocked out by the clothes.

Excellent value, saves energy – I have always loved top loading washing machines, and when my 25 year old one fnally died I bought the Hauer top loader which ws the only one I could find. It does a really good job. The best thing about it is,liike all top loaders, you are able to control completely the amount of water you use, and the energy you use. You have the ability to only… Read more

wash for a few minutes if the garments are not very dirty, and you can minimise the lenght of time you spin. It saves heaps of power. Good for the environment; washes effectively.
