This is just a single hydrolysed protein, NOT hypoallergenic – Sadly, vet FOH staff are telling people this product is hypoallergenic. My vet only sells Hills so I bought it. My French Bulldog broke out in rashes after this so I had to go back to Royal Canin hypoallergenic and havent had any problems since.

Highly palatable – My French Bulldog is 11 months old, and has skin symptoms related to an as yet unidentified allergy. My vet recommended a 3 month trial on a prescription hypoallergenic dog food to establish if there is a food allergy, giving a choice of Royal Canin Hypoallergenic or Hills Z/D. At this point, I'm pleased I chose Z/D (11.3kg for $152.99 from Pet Barn), since it's better value for money than the Royal Canin, and my dog absolutely loves the taste. It smells great to my nose too (unlike Black Hawk Puppy, the most disgusting smelling dog food I can think of). I think a 3 month trial on this with no other food or treats is totally feasible.
She also recommended Prime100 Kangaroo and Pumpkin, so I bought the air dried stuff to use as treats, and the roll as a topper. No adverse reactions as yet - so far so good. Either his skin will be clear in 3 months, and I can begin introducing other proteins to identify the specific allergy, or I can eliminate a food allergy as the cause of his skin condition entirely.

Amazing Product – This product had amazing results with skin allergies in my dog, all gone in weeks, he is a new dog, with more energy as well. It was obviously very tasty a my dog is a picky eater It is very expensive for me as I am a pensioner
