Okay tv. Not worth the price tag – The tv is slow, the lag from remote button press to onscreen movement is infuriating. The biggest issue I have with this tv is the wireless connectivity to a tethered smartphone network - it only accepts the 2.4Ghz range not the 5Ghz range, thus the consequence of such means that Netflix/Online drops out all the time. Being today end of 2021,… Read more

many streaming. Providers are available, you only have the choice of YouTube and Netflix built in. Not the plethora of other companies. And it takes a long time to navigate through the browser to get any others.

The only pro I can say this the picture quality is good, it's sharp and the colour saturation is good. However, Being only led backlit the depth of black colours in a well lit room (living room) is highly refractive and thua makes it a suitable tv for a darkened room.

Enjoy

Hisense series 3 50K3110PW – I purchased this tv 6 months ago and am very displeased with the it. I’ll start with pro’s and then the cons: Pros 1/. It’s cheap 2/. It is built well, doesn’t wobble too much on its feet, display panel doesn’t have any waves or distortion, wide viewing angle, good picture quality. 3/. 3 HDMI inputs 4/. Dedicated app buttons(YouTube, Netflix ) … Read more

Cons 1/. Firmware issue exists with the series 3 models that effects wifi connection (V00.01.00a.G0314), hisense have no updated firmware in the immediate future for this model. 2/. Menus timeout and revert to the last source ( ie tv, av, hdmi, composite, component ), frustrating when trying to sort an issue. 3/. No option to customise labels for inputs. 4/. Slow channel changing. 5/. Limited display settings, especially when connecting a laptop via hdmi. 6/. Poor quality remote, lettering wears off keys quicker than any other brand I’ve used before. 7/. Poor response time from hisense tech support online.

I highly recommend you research all the brands and make your own mind up before making a purchase. But don’t buy this one! Remember, cheap is not good, and good is not cheap. Spend wisely

Really Enjoying This TV – TV s have really come along since my last upgrade and I am really impressed with the Hisense. Beautiful crystal clear picture. Lovely colors, plenty of brightness and decent black separation. Audio quality is OK but I will be investing is a soundbar to make it better. Remote is OK, I would probably prefer something simpler but its good. Really enjoying the smart part too. Its great to watch Youtube on the big screen Good TV  Show details

Good Picture Good TV – We watch less TV these days and more online content but we often Chromecast it over to the TV. Hisense have been around long enough now that we thought we would give them a go. We are happy with our choice as this TV has a really great picture and ok sound. The only negative is at start up there is long delay while it all boots up and you can't… Read more

change anything until it all settles down. Its OK but obviously it would be improved with faster internals. The screen itself is beautiful to watch and really high quality

Good picture, but slow as a turtle – Bought this TV for a cheap price, so overall it is a good TV. My only two issues with it are, one it takes forever to start. Mine takes about 20 seconds to allow me to change channels or volume. And two there's no update to the android, which makes the smart feature unusable. Much better off buying a chome to make it smarter. Other than that it is fine, picture quality is great, sound if amazing, good size.  Show details

Great – Very good and very well priced I think this tv has very good value for the dollar and serves well as it saves on power costs unlike some other tv's which may use more energy. This t.v. is also very quick when navigating and works well for long periods of time.  Show details

Great TV – Great TV. The picture quality is great and honestly FHD is fine for me with a 50" screen. The sound is ok without being anything special. There are certainly worse built in speakers around. There are plenty of ports. 3 HDMI ports have been ample for me and an ethernet port is always a nice alternative if your wireless internet is a bit dodgy.… Read more

The big downside is that the OS can make the TV very slow at times when changing from live tv to video, or indeed changing any settings.

The remote has a netflix button and a youtube button which makes things super easy.

Couldn't recommend enough.

Good TV for price – Overall everything is fantastic. It offers WiFi connectivity, YouTube and Netflix at the touch of a button. USB and HDMI ports available. The only issue I have is the sensor from the TV to remote (or vice versa) gets a bit glitchy sometimes and I have to press the power on button numerous times before television turns off or on.  Show details

Awesome LED TV – What a great LED TV. You can stream movies and have quick access to Netflix. The picture quality is excellent, clear and colours are vibrant. It is easy to navigate through the different options and connected the TV through WiFi in a few easy steps to the internet. I haven't used all features yet. Great LED TV for a great price.  Show details

Wast of Money – Having purchased the TV it was unusable from the start. Over a period of a month every part of the set was replaced, including the motherboard, a number of remotes, blue tooth, etc, etc. Even new parts installed would’t function. Having a non operational set for a month it was replaced. The replacement set has similar issues but not to the… Read more

same extent. Having persisted with this second faulty set I have purchased three Sony Bravia sets including a 55” UHD. My Hisense TV is off to the tip even though it is still under warranty. I will continue to look for an open foram to express my disgust with this brand and to warn others not to wast their money and time on this rubbish.

Very nice smart TV love it – My Hisense smart TV has a nice picture quality and really clear sound it doesn't matter if your watching movies or listening to your favorite music, the apps that come standard with the Hisense are so easy to use I love YouTube in particular but it also has live TV, EPG electronic program guide that allows you to set reminders or to record a show… Read more

Good quality TV but not a lot of features – I've had this TV for 9 months now and overall I'm happy with it. Positives are: Great picture and sound quality. Stable and strong frame while still being lightweight. Has all the ports I need, including two HDMI. Negatives are: Freeview functionality is clumsy and slow. I have problems with wifi connectivity, frequently drops out. Apps… Read more

are not good and basically useless.

The program guide is terrible, it doesn't load all the channels at once so you have to flick through each station once before it loads the TV shows and it doesn't update them.

Overall the positives still make me happy with this TV the negatives are all related to its SmartTV functions, which are not very smart.

Lines on Screen on Standard Defintion TV Shows – I bought this TV April 2017 and when I first set it up and started watching shows either on Foxtel or DVD it had these small lines around the perimeter of object, very noticeable lines to the point you knew something was wrong. I called their help desk and over the phone they had me change Factory default out of the box settings, to new… Read more

settings, one of the settings was a hidden code to change it from manufactore to user default settings, and to make this change was a hidden code not mentioned in the manual and not something anyone would know but them.

After making this change and some others the lines diminished by about 80% so it clearly is a TV / Settings issue.

They ended up sending out a technician to try and fix the fault, but after showing him the lines issue he stated that is just normal Definition TV and nothing he can do about that, which it clearly was not as changing settings fixed 80% of the problem.

So now they have closed the issue as resolved (but not resolved to my satisfaction) so the lines are still showing up and nothing can be done about it.

Only thing I can do and suggest is do not buy HISENSE TV's that will fix the issue 100% for sure.

Amazing TV, beautiful colour and sound! – Amazing TV, beautiful colour and sound! Bought this tv second hand in great condition. I was amazed by the quality of the tv, very bright and crisp picture. The speaker is amazingly good for such a thin TV. This TV performed much better than my $2000 samsung TV. Which is crazy. I would buy Hisense again.  Show details

Happy with the performance, unhappy with quality of built – As a television, it worked well. Had many items like Freeview which other big names did not have, at that price. Remote was sluggish, but not too bad. Had a Control button on for Netflix on the remote, which was good. Sound was actually quite loud and good, didn't need a soundbar. Did not register my external hard drive when plugged in though. It… Read more

was actually not a bad TV as my last TV was a 1990s Trinitron, but the reason it is bad, is because it is just slightly over a month, and i am not able to control it with my remote. After troubleshooting using the Hisense Helpdesk, conclusion is that the TV sensor is damaged. I can't even control the TV with my phone. Had to do it manually at the back of the TV. Can tell where they cut costs to make this TV so cheap, it only had a UP-Down-Let-Right button at a very hard to reach area to control the TV ( Realised that the up down left right button also used by major brands, so guess is best practice). Sent an email to Hisense HelpDesk but no response. Will be returning the TV, which is unfortunate as it was a good tv when things were working. Good that they have 3 years warranty, but would be beneficial only if someone actually actions on the claims.

Very good for the price – This has been an excellent tv for my purposes, the smart function on this tv works well with all apps complying, the speaker quality I find is good, but wish to update to a sound bar at a later date, the picture quality is great I am overall very satisfied with this tv. My situation is that I live alone so this was a good price for a smart TV.  Show details

Good budget TV – We needed another TV for our home gym, but couldn't justify a major brand TV or 4k, so the salesperson recommended the Hisense full HD, series 3. I had my doubts after reading some reviews. However, I found the TV looked good, was easy to setup, including the wifi for Netflix etc. To my eye, the picture is equal to my Sony 65", as is the speed… Read more

between functions etc. The remote is also set out well and easy to use. The sound is also as good as my Sony, although you can't beat a sound bar or external sound system. It is certainly superior to other budget brand TV's. The system comes with automatic software update on by default. It remains to be seen how well this works, as does the unit's reliability. However, for the money, I am impressed. And the manufacturers three year warranty was the clincher.
