Not for cold climates – This air con constantly goes into defrost mode if outside air below 8 degrees, goes off for about 10 minutes, then blows cool air into the room when it comes back on, stays on for 20 minutes, then repeats the above cycle. Our house is freezing! Has been checked by all relevant parties, no fault, we are told. Have even moved the outdoor unit to a warmer place, to no avail.
This morning was 2 degrees, no visible ice on back of the unit but still in defrost!!
DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIVE IN A COLD PLACE!!!!

Very very noisy – During winter this outdoor unit sounds like a jet engine taking of and landing they have replaced the unit once however this winter same noise again. The system appears to work ok

Top Quality – I have this unit for my four bedroom house for the last 2 years. It has been performing very well and no problems at all. Just the normal cleaning of filters for dust. Very reliable
