Cheap Basic Sandwich Maker – The price is very cheap (less than $10.00). it just average basic sandwich maker but do it's function properly. The teflon layer is not too good quality, if you used it a lot, it'll started peel off, maybe will stay for a year? but for this price, couldn't complaint much.

Cheaply made product – As this product was an el cheapo product, I wasn't expecting this sandwich maker to be amazing quality. My main issue with it was that it was hard to fit in two regular size pieces of bread with just cheese and no other fillings. I had to push the sandwich toaster together to squeeze the contents in. It is probably for this reason that the plastic broke and I had to throw the product away. I always feel guilty when discarding products that end up in land fill in this throwaway society. Cheap price Plastic broke
Worst sandwich maker ever! – This is the most useless sandwhich maker ever made, Im pretty sure the design team didnt even test it before it went into production, you cant even fit two slices of bread inside it and close the machine properly, if you attempt to put cheese inside ur sandwich, half of it ends up on the bench. as the other person commented, they still taste like plastic after 5 or 6 uses none designed by idiots
soggy sandwiches, tastes like plastic – i've used this a few times now, so i would expect that the plastic taste should be gone by now but it isnt, even after numerous cleans. with or without butter,my sandwiches are soggy and dont "seal". as the other reviewer said, the sandwich tears apart when you open it up. it's too tight so you can barely put any fillings without it spilling out. it seems like the hotplates arent hot enough to make the bread crisp / seal the sandwich. i bought it because i'm only in australia for less than a year and didn't want to spend money on a good one and past experiences with cheap sandwich makers have been good It's cheap. Soggy sandwiches, tastes like plastic.
Most products are built to last only a short time, and this creates a "throw-away" culture.why????? – I expected more than a "throw-away" culture before migration to Australia, but alas. It was supposed to be non-stick plates but after first use bread and cheese stick.so it's impossible to clean. I have to cut the sandwich after it is cooked. Inexpensive.not even worth it. Sticking, Didn't cut properly down the middle, tearing the sandwiches apart when you tried to open it.
