Hoover 5050EDD

17 years and still going strong – Almost always, they don't make em like they used to. But Hoover did with this little powerhouse. Haven't been kind to it. It's dried dog and horse hair covered blankets. It's dried countless things that should have really damaged the drum. It seems to be almost indestructible. The exterior has seen better days, so I've not been treating it well so I can justify getting a prettier new one, but it's been so damn good that I think we'll keep and hide it in a cupboard.
Hoover has always been a great brand. This little guy is a credit to the company.

A good dryer – Had this for years, it broke down once but that was only a wire fell off the main PC board. It is used every day and functions well. Rarely used on hot mode as it tends to shrink stuff too easily. Gilter is in the door so no trouble cleaning it and my wife can get to it without any trouble, this is also handy if you throw the clothes in and forget to clean the filter, you an just do it on the spot.
The only complaint I have is that it has aged it has become very squeaky, especially as it reverses direction. Nothing I can't put up with though. Reliable dries well Noisy
