Poor Customer Service – My Husband purchased a Hewlett Packard Monitor 15 months ago at a cost of $2500.00. The monitor crashed last night so having purchased the monitor from Good Guys, we took it back having purchased extended warranty (thank goodness) after we had run all the tests. Seems the hard drive has crashed. The Salesperson at Good Guys was very helpful, but having tried to rectify the problem, said that the monitor had to be sent back to Singapore to be fixed.

My Husband and I run a small business and use our computer to quote, invoice & reconcile bank statements. We purchased what we thought was a quality product and spent good money on a computer that we thought would last us for some years.

Extremely disappointing to know that we could be without the computer for 4-6 weeks as according to the Good Guys, they are no longer repaired here in Australia.

Also disappointing to know that the monitor has been discontinued, so Hewlett Packard obviously have had problems with the built in hard drive!

Will certainly being doing more thorough research before purchasing any more (so called) quality items in future.

OK – I used a w1907. It was a good monitor. Picture quality is very good. Colour and contrast are excellent. The monitor also has a great design that blends in well with the environment. The biggest disappointment is that mine died a few months after the one-year warranty. HP charges almost $200 to do a swap with a refurbished one. For that money, I could get a new one. I brought it to a repair shop and they said that the power supply was dead but HP didn't make the power supply as a replaceable part. $30 went down the drain. - Good contrast

- Good colour

- Convenient built-in speaker

- Nice looking screen - Not reliable

Excellent – I just bought this computer and I love it! It's really large, and it's crystal clear. The speakers are good, but it would be better if you could turn them up a bit louder. The graphics are amazing, and it looks very modern and so sleek. It's so big! The colours are so vivid and very clear. It's not that expensive, I got mine at a discounted price, yay! Also, the power button is so cute. It turns blue!! The monitor is so bright! I've adjusted it, but it's still a little bright. THe speakers are a little soft, as the other reviewer said.

Excellent – This monitor has a DVI input so you can have great graphics and also decent sized font if you have bad eyes. The sound from the inbuilt speakers isn't great but lets face it, who uses inbuilt speakers anyway? Most people I know have seperate speakers with their computers. I am really happy with this monitor and I would definetely recommend it to anyone. If you can grab one below $300, buy it. Although I'm sure they'd probably be somewhere around that price now. Big and a very clear monitor. Built in speakers aren't all that loud. But who uses them anyway?
