Website is scamming customers holding them to shipping amounts not disclosed at time of purchase – The website is atrocious. The website stated it will quote shipping before logging order against account. It didn't. It lodged the order, never showed shipping amount, and then did not process any credit card information for payment. Apparently they log orders, then bill for item and shipping amount of which by that stage the customer is committed to buy. This raises SO many flags under the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission laws.

benchmarks by up to 40 percent- they cancelled my order and refused to do business with me.. for no other reason than I did not accept the faulty cpu (which I was told to cancel my order by the sales staff so we could do a new order..) - while having no problem selling the same faulty cpus to other unsuspecting customers PCs being assembled along side mine. They told me to ring back and talk with the manager (who is never in and no one knows when hes ever in) to organise new conditions for a rebuild which never happened as he did not want to accept my business - knowing I was in contact with NSW fair trading already for my experience with MSY and he would be reported too if he ripped me off so he simply did not want my money. They used the excuse we cannot meet your expectations?! I only expected a working computer with a 900.00 cpu thats not faulty - according to there own tech staff! Discriminatory and disgusting. One really really rude australian lady working there literally refused my call based on my caller ID - because I was chasing my refund and she thought shed prevent me from speaking with anyone. This comes after I was sold a faulty computer from MSY computers which failed 3 times in 3 months resulting in MSY themselves recommending a refund and starting over and I ended up at IJK thinking I was ok now Ill finally get a working computer - boy was I wrong - IJK service was even worse than MSY.

I discovered that MSY computers has been fined for 750,000.00 twice in past several years by federal court of Australia for ripping people off more or less.. (Google it yourself!) I have just placed an order with a new trustworthy retailer (in the business 20 years) and they shared that IJK computers is another company just like MSY computers and I was advised to stay the hell away from them. They have had many people come from MSY and also IJK with similar experiences to my own. Another computer retailer confirmed what they said about MSY. Apparently its well known in the computer retailer community.

SO in a way this experience ended very positively as atleast I am not another victim of a dodgey computer store that targets unsuspecting clients and when you ask them to benchmark your components and run tests on them to ensure your computer is working - they cannot even build a working computer and refuse to serve you to avoid embarassment and exposure of there own shady predatory business practices if you catch them out. Save yourselves a world of heartache and stay away from IJK Computers. They are just not what they seem, the staff are rude and they are shady as hell. The best thing you can do is know who your dealing with when you purchase something as complex as a gaming PC in 2021 and my experience proves its best to stay away from IJK.

They later offered a refund. The guy who delivered from couriers please was different to the one who broke my previous item, the new bloke was friendly and handled the package well even tho it weighed 25kg and had tempered glass. Hopefully the other guy got fired, i complained about him.

If you want happy smiling faces and to have your shoes polished when you go to a store, this might not be your type of place, but I like it! They've got the goods like really nice SSDs, they deliver what they say they will, and as far as I'm aware their prices are very very good. Pick up will require payment first which could be a little unnerving the first time as you have no chance inspecting the goods. Anyway, I have no issues both time and the stock were Australian distributor stock and carried full manufacturers warranty.

So will buy again especially it is very close to me.

excellent price & service – I placed an order Sunday night and by 8.30am Monday they received the order and sent an invoice. way through the screen. I used my iphone and took photos, took the faulty ram and you would expect a refund be given right?.... wrong... they wanted to charge 40% restocking fee and kept advising there were no issues with the different part numbers.

Worst still, the tech support guy would half mumble and effectively they gang up on you by withholding your money. The product should be under warranty but guess what?.. you would need to wait a few weeks while they test the faulty ram or deal with it yourself..

There is no doubt their prices are cheaper on average but I have also found once you placed your order (especially items out of stock), they commonly email you back to say their supplier (1) is out of stock, then supplier (2) is higher in price and you need to confirm whether to proceed.. else give authority to cancel the order.

This is neither ethical nor contractual based on ordering from their website, worst still the price will suddenly increase on their website by 10% and then a few days later return to normal. I have experienced this first hand on 2 occasions.. I thought it was just timing issues, however after speaking to a few of my friends, they have also experienced a similar sly approach.

Don't ever tick anyone off or else they blacklist your account with comments and the next time you order that hard drive or motherboard, don't be surprised if they 'accidently' knock the hard disk on the floor or give that circuit board a small bend.

time of my order, all the components were listed as in stock although several were listed as low stock. They do not list shipping costs on their website before placing an order. Shipping costs are sent via email sometime after completing an online order. I received that email the next business day, with average shipping costs ($66, compared to Mwave $41 and PCCG $80). The email also contained a list of components which needed to be back ordered, and an expected delivery date was almost a month out. To complete the order, I'd have to pay for the order separately, and then reply to their email confirming my order. Too many steps and highly inefficient for my tastes. For those looking for comparably cheap online components and in no rush to get the parts, IJK may be a good option. Anyone needing parts quickly can find many better online options. Components from most other companies are slightly more expensive ($15-$100 more for the parts I needed, including shipping), but at least they're quick and accurately post what is in stock and what is not.

He threw a tantrum while we were trying to further explain our problem saying "I don't know anything about computers" it was probably meant to be a sarcastic statement but he did a pretty convincing job of having no idea what he was doing. professionally. A final check of the component order and I made payment. Two parts had to be ordered in otherwise the rest in stock. Within 24 hours I had been advised order was ready for shipping. Within 24 hours it arrived on my front door 300km away. The packaging was excellent and all the components were accounted for and the correct ones. Built the system that night and booted first go.

To add to this cost was cheaper that 99% of competitors. The 1% that may have been cheaper I would not order with.

Great service and quick delivery – Wanted to build a fairly specific compact machine (a small mini-ITX case with a low power Haswell) and was looking for a shop having all components in stock. IJK was the only shop I could find. Ordered all components on Thursday night and I've received them on the next Monday! They updated me quite often and the communication was very pleasant. All components work great and I have nothing to complain!

Good but keep track of your account – They clean and service very well. Unfortunately a chip came back dead with paste oozing out from under the cpu. Possibly the courier did it? Sometimes they will forget to give you money for a trade in, so don't forget to ask them for cash or credit and check your account. under warranty, they did not send me a new one. The guy who I spoke to in repairs was completely useless. I fought with him to give me a new one as it was still under warranty, but he just simply stated that he will check and repair it as the vendor did not get back to him.
