Jaymac Versatrol Automatic

Not up to scratch – I bought a Jaymac "Genuine spare part" in the form of a Roller Bumper Strap, thinking it was a Kreepy Krawly genuine spare. Not so. The plastic used for the rollers was brittle and it literally fell to pieces within two weeks of use. The store replaced it, thinking it may have been a one-off faulty part, but the new one fell to bits within two weeks also, so I got my money back. I've since bought a real KK spare and it's looking like it'll last as long as the genuine one I had before (about 18 months). I like to buy local where possible but Jaymac will have to do much better than this.

Excellent – Have had one in my pool for a few years now. No signs of wear on the unit. Seal shows no signs of fading Good quality product for the price. One moving part. Like the weighted plate. Won Does have a hammer so this can be noisy for some backyards
