used, the stand was scratched, the batteries were already in the remote. I didn't fully unbox the TV or test it as I wasn't willing to accept it. As soon as I noticed that the product packaging was already opened I took photo and video evidence. Clearly I had been delivered a second hand TV. I did contact the JB HiFi store it was ordered from and they did order and delivery a replacement which was new 1 week later without fuss.

automatically changing apps while the remote is lying on table (so no button pressed e.g. automatically changes/switches apps between Prime video to Youtube and NetFlix to youtube, somtimes gets stuck or navigation keys stuck. I called TCL TV warranty claim support, and they confirmed that they didn't receive the TV and JB HiFi team tested it. Now JB HiFi say they cannot do anything because the warranty time has passed, and suggested to contact TCL if they can help. Don't recommend JB HiFi at all.

Different Driver came, Since its too heavy for him He was flicking the TV upside down from the van and dragging the TV on the road and foot path. then to the house.

1) Why JB Hi Fi is not instructing their delivery contractors to follow the manufactures instructions written on the TV boxes. We are coming to your store to buy the TV and we expect the TV to be delivered in good condition. 2) Toll, Delivery Company also Not following what is written on the box and sending only one person and dragging the tv. This was loaded by one person in to the van and delivered by one person. Mishandlings the TV can damage the TV.

I am hoping that JB HI FI will read this review and take necessary action to fix this issue. due to data issues I have only attached small part of the video

(Goods condition screenshot provided) On 01 April 2026, the items delivered to my address. I noticed that - The Purifier's box is badly damaged and fixed with tapes. - The Purifier's box has been opened from the bottom.

(Conversation screenshot provided - CustomerServiceResponse_1.png) On 02 April 2026 at around 12pm, I contacted JB HiFi via online chat and "[Name Removed]" responded. - I explained to him my issue with pictures provided(as attachment), - I was instructed to bring in the item to the store for fault assessment. - I clarified that, this is a brand new item and it was delivered with bad condition and box for a purifier been opened, and I wanted a replacement to my address for convenient swap. - and yet, he insisted to have me go through fault assessment in one of the store. - I questioned him if he is fine to receive lemon car from dealer when buying a brand new car. - "[Name Removed]" replied "Items need to be assessed by store either way" and terminated the conversation.

Here comes the question, is my last message to [Name Removed] aggressive enough for me to terminate the conversation in such a way? or he is taking advantages of protocol on this matter. Personally, I don't see he is putting any efforts for better pleasant resolution.

and final answer is ,THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AT THE TIME OF SALE. I am sure the management is aware of the fact that this is run out model and they are going to slash the price further. Anyway, I have been JBHIFI s loyal customer for many many years and spent thousands of dollars over the years. I WILL NOT STEP IN TO JBHIFI anymore. THEY HAVE LOST A LIFE TIME CUSTOMER FOR $410. A word of caution to the future buyers, if you are buying a discount product ask the question that this product is not going to be reduced in three weeks time ( they are clever they will not reduce it for 14 days if they, then they have to replace or match the price) or a discontinued run-out model.

What made this even worse was JB Hi-Fi customer service’s response. After contacting JB Hi-Fi for support, I was told that I could call an Uber! That is an incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful response for a paid delivery service.

Update: Tracking now shows “Check address – held in depot.” The parcel was scanned at Woolloongabba and marked “Unable to locate delivery address,” which strongly suggests no delivery attempt was ever made.

This is not a delivery service, and the lack of accountability from both the courier and JB Hi-Fi is completely unacceptable.

two hours when third in line chat dropped out. Don't know what's happening don't know if someone stole it from their depot literally have no idea where a TV has vanished too and impossible to get any answers. Spend your money elsewhere.

My interactions with JB Hi-Fi give rise to two separate concerns. The first relates to an installer identified as Tony (refer to Section A of my review), whose conduct during the installation was, in my view, inappropriate and fell below acceptable… Read more

The second relates to my subsequent interaction with a customer service representative, [Name Removed]. During this interaction,

[Name Removed] attempted to minimise the seriousness of the installer’s conduct by characterising it as “just a joke.” This response was dismissive and failed to adequately address the concerns raised. Further,

[Name Removed] did not respond to my direct enquiries on two separate occasions and provided information that was, at best, misleading in relation to his ability to identify the company employing the installer.

This raises concerns regarding transparency and the adequacy of the complaint handling process. Despite the refusal to provide these details,

I have independently identified the installer’s employer through review of my apartment security footage.

In light of the above, I am considering escalation of this matter to the appropriate regulatory and consumer protection bodies.

I will also be documenting the handling of this matter, including the apparent failure to provide accurate information and the lack of professionalism demonstrated.

I request that JB Hi-Fi review this matter internally and provide a formal response addressing these concerns.

SECTION A). My experience with the installer, [Name Removed], was extremely disappointing. He was condescending throughout the visit and, at the conclusion of the installation, suggested that the defect may have been caused by me, which I found inappropriate and unprofessional.

He also unnecessarily prolonged the installation by going on a rant about robots packing the TV, insisting the defect could not have originated there.

This was irrelevant to the task at hand and added to the frustration.

To clarify, was [Name Removed]’s role solely to carry out the installation, or is it standard practice for installers to question customers on matters outside their scope or authority?

by google. Long story short I ended up buying the OPPO XP Pro (some $300 odd more than the Samsung. The salesperson did his utmost to convince me that the OPPO was superior to the Samsung knowing full well that I did not want a phone where the majority of apps and services were run by google. I was not aware that google operates all android phones by ‘default’ because I have always had a Samsung which had its own system and apps and I believed that OPPO would also have its own apps. I trusted that he had heard (understood) my views on google, apparently not, as google was not mentioned at all when talking about the OPPO. When I was setting up the phone, I had no choice but to use the ‘default’ apps and settings ‘google’ one can only imagine how furious I was to find this out and even more so when I called jb hifi and was told that nothing could be done, the phone could not be returned as it had been opened. It was their store policy. Non negotiable. I take responsibility for my own foolishness in believing the sales person was there to support me the customer in acquiring the item best suited to my needs and preferences. As I had no recourse (other than sell the phone and go back to Samsung) I decided to keep the phone even though struggling with replacing google apps with 3rd party apps. I’m hoping my review will help the next naïve customer not fall into the trap I did. Do not trust anyone but yourself. If you know exactly what you expect, ask the relevant questions. No company today has the customers interests in mind, you are not an individual with individual needs you are profit to them otherwise they would be up-front about their store policies and make it clear before you handover your hard-earned money. Needless to say I will not be talking kindly or referring jb hifi to anyone, dead or alive. Stay alert when dealing with greedy companies.

Despite raising a formal complaint, the key issues were not meaningfully addressed, and the proposed solution was to charge more than half the cost of the fridge, which was disproportionate given the circumstances.

My complaint was escalated to the Customer Service Manager however she failed to address the concerns in any meaningful way. Despite explaining the issue, repeatedly outlining the service failures, lack of coordination, and impact of this ongoing situation, the responses received were largely repetitive and did not engage with the substance of the complaint. Key points were overlooked, and no alternative resolution was considered beyond reiterating the same position. This reflects a very poor complaints handling process for a company of this size.

I ultimately had to arrange and pay for my own third-party assistance to move the fridge to ground level in order to facilitate collection.

The entire process was time-consuming, stressful, and avoidable. Based on this experience, I would not return to JB Hi-fi for any significant purchase.

Bought a substantial amount of household goods at once, paid for the extra care package plans, which wasn't cheap but we were assured that if anything went wrong at all that it would be actioned within 48 hours..... This is not at all the case and the products aside, I highly discourage ppl from purchasing the extra care plans. I got no support what so ever and will most likely never shop here again

I ordered a phone online and was supposed to be delivered to my address 2 days ago. After chatting online for 2 days it went nowhere so decided to talk to someone over the phone so rang hotline and waited for almost 2 hours on hold due to high volume of calls but after all that I was instructed to visit website and the call was dropped. Not a happy customer.
