Jurgens Terra Pop Top

Poorly built – I have had my Jurgens Terra for only 3 years and it leaks water through the roof badly. They have stopped manufacturing the Terra so now I am left out in the cold having to custom rebuild the roof which was not sealed properly if at all. I would advise anyone thinking of buying a Jurgens caravan to think carefully about it. Take it to a repairer to check out the build first. It's light to tow Leaks like a sieve.

Excellent – Van is assembled in a factory at Tooradin in Victoria. I was sceptical at first about Euro type vans but wanted something light to tow so I did not have to change vehicles (Mondeo 2.0 litre diesel) We got ours in Coffs Harbour and towed it home to Echuca (1300klm) the car sat level and there was very little if any effect when semi trailers were passing us. Very strong side winds on the trip could be felt when gusting but very little movement. The overide braking system was another worry, however I venture to say that they are as good or better than electric brakes (no jolt what so ever when car brakes are applied) and a big benefit when you are not up for a brake controller and cost of fitting to the tow vehicle. Weight is 1200kg tare & ATM 1500kg. so at this stage we are extremely happy with our purchase. Light Weight, Appliances & fittings that are readily available & used in other vans e.g. AL-KO suspension, A & E awning, Truma Air Cond. Tows very well does not require sway bars, level rides etc. Full length wardrobes are great but no where to put your morning cupper. Fixed this with $5.00 foldable cup holders from ebay.

Excellent – having livede in caravans years ago and the way things have changed the jurgen terra is exactly what we wanted we are looking forward to many happy holidays it is just the right size for myself and my husband with everything we need already in it
