Awesome – Best vacuum ever! Wish I could buy another, had it for 7 years! Only now has the handle and head cracked, the suction is amazing. With two toddlers this vacuum was a godsend and am devastated we cannot find parts to replace and fix it because it is amazing! Woo Show reply
Lasted 10 Years And Still Going – I read a lot of bad reviews here and thought I would put my 2 cents in. I bought this machine for 110$ on sale in 2006. As everybody here mentioned the suction dropped & started to overheat. But around the same time I bought myself an air compressor for the garage. Everytime I cleaned the filters I ran compressed air over the fins and the machine… Read more
was as good as new everytime for the past 10 years.
So the idea is to keep the filters clean for the air to flow through. Once it is clogged with dust the safety valve cuts off suction to about 10% to save the motor. I wish I could buy another one of this model today. The only model with self cleaning of the hepa-filter is a Bosch. Not sure which model.
Best vacuum I've ever owned! – Genuinely shocked at the reviews here (but then again only a handful of bad reviews of hundreds sold??) i had mine for almost 5 years but everything had started to break down, the cord was getting stuck, the tile head had split and was taped on then finally the plastic filter thing split. Paid $99 on sale (usually $199) at target and best purchase… Read more · 1
ever. I recently purchased a new more expensive vacuum and after a month all I want is my old vacuum but can't find one anywhere, a Google search of the model number led me here and I'm so shocked at the reviews haha. Kambrook people is there anywhere that still stocks this model number ?? I've seen newer ones but want this one
What a pile of junk – Our Kambrook Jaguar lasted just over a year. Total peice of GARBAGE. The dude that sold it to us BEGGED me to buy Electrolux. Buy I knew better. "Buy Australian" I thought. Support the local company. Big mistake. Piece of garbage of the lowest order. Does not suck anything more than dust, the lifting power changes every time we use it. Time to get that Electrolux. The box it came in.
No stars from me – Hose split (not through misuse) so had to be duct taped early on. Suction always poor, and yes, I clean both filters after every use, and yet I still have to pick up anything heavier than dust. Turbo brush never rotated. My 40 year old Sanyo vacuum still works better than this. Who designed this? Totally unacceptable. Originally I thought the… Read more
price was reasonable, but of course found out it was way too expensive for very little value. Just about everything: hose failed, turbo brush doesn't work, poor suction, messy to clean filters
Don't complain about it, read your manuals - I did and my Jaguar is back to better than before!!! – Over the past few weeks I noticed a reduction in suction and couldn't work out why. Kept emptying the bagless filter and cut all the hairs out from the turbo head, still had no luck. Noticed that the red light was lid permanently thinking there must be something not right. Today I checked out the internet and read some reviews on your website… Read more · 3
thinking yeah it's been about 12 months and it's dead but then I tried to find out what the red light was about and found that there was another filter inside the bigger one. So I twisted the filter and removed the inner filter like in the manual stated. And OMG! Can't believe how much dust had been trapped in the accordeon like filter. It took me a while to clean it by tapping it outside on the concrete. And when I put the filter back on - VOILA! My vaccum cleaner is now back to better than before. I'm really happy. Great suction, good power. It's good value for money. But one word of advice to everyone out there who can't be bothered looking into any sort of a problem to solve it. Complaining isn't always the answer, you'll loose. I feel sorry for all those people who threw their vacuum cleaners away because of this issue. Value for money, good suction. Instruction manual not clear enough, no explanation about the red light. Had to figure it out myself.
Absolute Piece of Junk! – Was given this as a gift to replace our 15 year old vacuum cleaner. Worst gift ever. 1. Handle was split week1 near the floor piece. 2. Have to clean filter every time we use it. 3. Even when clean it is flat out sucking up dust off a floor tile. Unacceptable that they released this and we should get out money back. I have resorted to my old one.
Doesn't do the job – I have been very disappointed with the performance of this vacuum cleaner which I bought to replace my 20 year old Volta which was getting a bit tired. I was really impressed by its compact size and light weight. It vacuumed really well for about 10 minutes and then it stopped picking up the bits and pieces off the carpet. Upon investigation, the… Read more
Turbo Brush was jammed with hair and was not rotating. I spent a few minutes clearing this , but again after a few minutes it jammed. And months later, that is how vacuuming with this machine continued - again, vacuum, unclog, vacuum, unclog etc. In addition the wand also gets clogged relatively easily. It is obvious this cleaner was never designed to pick up anything other than a bit of sand and dust in a household of bald people who have no children, pets . It will not efficiently pick up hair, bits of paper or grass or anything that I would expect a normal vacuum to do. I have resorted to my old Volta has less suction power but does a better and quicker job. Light weight and compact. Bad head design of Turbo head which constantly clogs and stops working.
I totally agree with you: this vacuum cleaner is made for sterile bald people with no pets and no… Read more
Total waste of money and time – What a load of junk. I read the good reviews and they say you need to clean filter every time. What a joke who wants to be cleaning the filter every time you use a vacuum. I have tried cleaning, even washing filter still useless and then pipe broke so thru the lot in bin. Will never buy anything kambrook ever again Everything! from day one it was useless
I agree; I agree on everything Rockett says; I hate it, too. Useless from day one.....twister head… Read more (+1 reply)
angry, waste of money – Head don't work and its 4 days old used once no suction and its not what I expected for a good brand of kambrook. size, and reliability head dont work and only used it one time
I hate mine, too. It doesn't suck and if I have to get filthy dust all over myself in order to… Read more
Bloody disappointing: no suction after 12 months! – Had previous model, worked great. Bought this one worked faultlessly and very impressively then suddenly, no suction! I have looked after this and even cleaned the filter with compressed air so that's not the problem. Just won't vacuum and can't turn carpet cleaner brush (which I have cleared of hair). I like to say 'it sucks' but it definately… Read more
doesn't in this case! I was using the old one in my garage but am having to use that as a backup.
Kambrook had no solution when we called their call centre.
looks like a vacuum cleaner, but isn't – Not sure if this is meant to be a toaster or a vacuum cleaner. Only tried it as a vacuum cleaner so far, but I hope it makes good toast as it is a terrible vacuum cleaner. it has some yellow on it (indicating it is a lemon) absolute rubbish - lost suction very quickly - IT DOESN'T VACUUM, JUST MAKES NOISE
I hat this vacuum cleaner; I want to throw it under a truck and watch it get smashed to… Read more
Terrible – Bought this 3 wks ago at Target, loses suction all the time & overheats, rang Kambrook who told me to take back to Target for refund of $215.00, Target refused refund telling me to take to Kambrook total waste of money, bought Dyson and love it! Lightweight It is noisy, loses suction instantly, filter very hard to clean.

Know better, choose better.
Bad – Wouldn't recommend vacuum cleaner to anyone. Not enough suction for 1800 Watt. very messy to clean container. Wouldn't recommend vacuum cleaner t nice look 1) after 11 month the electric cord didn't roll back and was broken 2) very messy to clean container
Good – Great, best I have had, awesome suction and cleaning, maybe the only thing was that you had to clean rotating head after 2nd use as it was full of hair but this is to be expected with this type of head, and had to clean filter every second time also in order to get best suction but this took only minutes and was worth it for quality of clean each… Read more
time, even better if you have an indoor pet Price was competitive, had rotating head to help pick up more large objects and hair nothing really
