Its in the bin – Have had mine for a couple of years and sometimes it works, tried changing elect plugs and always look at the instruction book for the dreaded flashing light etc. so todays the day it finally went in the bin
Wont heat up – Just like other reviews here I have the dreaded flashing light and the unit wont heat up. I bought it a year or and a half or so ago and finally tried using it. JUNK. I think I got it at Kmart but don't have the receipt now so there will be no chance of service or replacement, my fault of course but I wont make the mistake of buying Kambrook rubbish again. Stupid me!!! – Bought over a year ago and never used. Can't write anything good about this cooker! Just wasted $25 on meat etc and max heat is hardly warm. Purchasing another brand that's more expensive however, actually cooks the food as it's advertised. No casserole for dinner tonight ********* Ok here's the outcome of the above. Read the instructions first… Read more
and don't do the bloke thing and dive straight into it. You must turn the knob to ready before each function selection. It works! I made a hot meal over 6 hours! Ok now I'm happy 4 stars
Power light won't stop flashing – The first 3 times used it, it was great. Pulled it out after summer and power light won't stop flashing and it won't heat up. I would expect more then 3 uses out of a product, i only ever was able to cook corned beef. Now now dinner tonight and $50 of wasted food. Show details
Shame on Kambrook for producing such a terrible product – What a total waste of money! Shame on Kambrook for such a horrible product! What a big mistake I made buying this bloody machine!! I've wasted meat, vegetables, and fruits! This machine is going in the bin! Do not waste your Money on this product!! One star is way too much, sorry but it's un-rate-able!! So disappointed in this machine... Show details
Never worked as it should – Great idea if only if did what it is supposed to. The power light doesn't stop flashing and so it is obvious it is not working at all today. Definitely not heating up. I have used this twice and it didn't cook as it should. What a heap of rubbish, total waste of my money and I am pleased to see no one else will be caught as this product has been discontinued. I can't find my receipt so I am unable to take it back to Myer.
Versatile But Not Ideal For Slow Cooking – Love the sauté function: saves on washing up and I do find it cooks a fine meal — if given 8-10 hours to cook and if the meat is sautéed first. I am a bit frustrated about this product as a slow cooker though, as there's no 'high' setting. Most recipes state two cooking times: 4-5 hours on 'high' or 8-10 hours on 'low'. I have a larger slow… Read more
cooker, which has both 'low' and 'high' settings (I bought this smaller one as I wasn't always ready to cook 2kg of meat at a time!). Without a doubt, I find my big slow cooker easier to use, as I just throw the meat in raw and set the dial to 'high', then after 4-5 hours the meal is done to perfection: tender meat and aromatic sauces. This smaller machine can only cook on 'low' and I don't always have the chance to put a meal on early enough in the day for an 8-10 hour cooking time. I wouldn't recommend this appliance as a slow cooker and am a bit sad I didn't realize these things before purchasing. Having said that, we do use it a lot but mostly as a rice cooker! So at least our money hasn't gone to waste.
25 days out of warranty & it's off to the bin! – The sauté part works very well, but when it's put to slow cooker - useless. Chicken breast curry cooking for 4 hours was lukewarm. Takes 'slow cooking' to a whole new level...not to mention food poisoning hazard for my family. I could lift the cooking bowl out with my hands! I'm off to buy another brand

It's a piece of crap – Totally waste of money. I left my chicken in the slower cooker overnight ( 8+hours) and its still uncooked! It just doesn't heat up! You really do get what you pay for! I don't recommend anyone to buy it.

Perfect, use it all the time! – I can brown the meat and onions first and just flick the dial round to slow cook, saving time and having to wash another pan. Just have to watch that it stops blinking and shows a solid light so I know it's set to "slow cook" or "saute". Also great just as a large pot for cooking spaghetti and meatballs, fry the meatballs and throw the pasta and… Read more
sauce in. Saves all the flavour in the pot. Highly recommend this as a space saver as it has multiple uses.
You Get What You Pay For – I purchased this a little over a week ago & have used it twice & wish I had of bought the $150 other brand. So far I have tried to "brown the meat" first, it's doesn't even get hot enough to brown anything. Second I tried to slow cook casserole for my pregnant daughter & it took 20 minutes to stop flashing then on "high" it didn't bubble or… Read more
get hot & it took almost 12 hours to get the meat tender. I would expect 4-8 on high.
Then it tasted funny despite me using same recipe I always use.
As a busy mum of 6 I don't have time to be waiting for a machine to warm up.
I will be taking it back & paying the extra for the other machine. Good bench size Doesn't heat, takes forever to warm up, takes forever to cook.
Doesn't heat up very much – I use my existing slow cooker a LOT .. I bought this as a second smaller option. I cooked Mignons in both slow cookers, old faithful is bubbling away and this one is barely heating up :( I am sure it will have it's uses ... Those days I need extra time cooking ... But the reason I bought a smaller one was for pavlovas / cakes etc and it just doesn't get hot enough :( Size / searing option Doesn't get hot

Has been my favourite slow cooker ever, shame it isn't working after only 1 year – Would have given it five stars, but dropping it to 3 as it's not working properly after just over a years use. Loved this so much, that I bought a second one...one for home, and one for the caravan. Caravan one is still working beautifully...in fact, during a 3 month trip, I probably used this at least every second day. Home one...also loved… Read more
it, but after about a year, and with much less use, it's thermostat failed. No longer can I control the temp on "saute"...it's full bore, or nothing. Slow cook still appears to work, though I'm a bit concerned that maybe it's not actually warm enough. Hard to tell without a thermometer. Easy to use. Inexpensive. Love the multi functions....does away with a whole bunch of appliances. Love the lightweight pan compared to a ceramic style. Thermostat malfunctioned after a year of little use. Sad face. I think appliances should last a few years at least.

Poor performance, overheated using Saute setting and now doesn't work – Overall, it does a half decent job, for the money I suppose you can't expect miracles. However, today after about 8-10 uses it died on me whilst using it to Saute some beef cheeks. I was browning them when the power and heat went off, after taking it apart there were no obvious signs of damage but still would not come back to life. I know it… Read more
wasn't the wall socket as other appliances still work and no fuses had been blown.
Sometimes during use the temperature would fluctuate and it would become difficult for it to keep constant temperature.
I will be taking it back this week as fortunately it's still under warranty. But I think I will probably be upgrading to a different make and model, more than likely a Breville. Versatile cooking options. Lightweight. Easy to Clean Flimsy build quality. Poor constant temperature. Prone to electrical failure. Not value for money.
Not Happy – Hi I love my Quatro Multi cooker , when it works.. I have used it successfully a few times since getting it for my husbands birthday last year. ( Aug. 31 ) but the light flashed until I turned the dial until it finally seemed to click into action. At first I thought it must need to warm up but if left alone it does not heat at all. Then I read… Read more
in the directions the light should only flash for a few minutes, so decided to take it back to the store, but I had lost my receipt. I was hoping to get a replacement , but they did not have any. They were happy to refund , but upon checking the price , offered me $4.00 ! This suggests to me they might have had some problems with this particular machine.
I hope you may be able to help me with this and I get the product I wanted, working every time.

What to do when the appliance dies after 2 years? – I received my kambrook multi function for my birthday 2 years ago and all along it has been a little temperamental to get started but now it's hit and miss about whether it will work on any given day. I turn it on and then it may work or may not. I took it to the local kambrook repair shop who said that it appears to be the circuit board and can't… Read more
be fixed. I loved being able to sauté then cook in the same pan then at the end add in my greens to steam. Will ring kambrook to speak to them but will be looking elsewhere for my next slow cooker! Being able to do everything in one pan Often doesn't work
Doesn't cook – The slow cooker has been on for 3 hours, not a bubble in sight, the contents are less than luke warm. Will transfer to normal saucepan - I'm not prepared to risk food poisoning. Having read reviews for other slow cookers made by this manufacturer, this seems to be common problem. See http://www.productreview.com.au/p/kambrook-ksc320-essential.html The Saute function works well Slow cook function doesn't cook
