Lucky I’m a light sleeper … – Bought two of these for when the grandchildren visited Tassie in winter. First one worked for a week then controller failed. Put the second one on my own bed, followed instructions, and woke up to a pungent burning smell. On examination the side of the controller had melted. Purchased a while ago maybe 2 years. NEVER Used it. Put it on Grandsons Bed last night, it wamed up – A piece of Rubbish, total waste of $$$$$$. I followed the instruction, I will not purchase anything made by Kambrook again. I have other stuff that never lasted. You have lost me.  Show details

Great to begin with – Like many other reviewers one of our controllers broke- it rattles it was brilliant before it broke,It appears you cannot buy just that part, why would i buy this whole set again if it like so many other reviewers breaks down.

useless, one side connector keeps falling out – Have had this for few weeks, not happy ! One side (mine) drops off even if clicked into place. We have tried various solutions but nothing works

Inferior and misleading quality claim – Very disappointed - the blanket only got used for one season, stored away carefully thinking it should last for a few years with 3 year warranty it must be of decent quality. Took it out to use two days ago and it will NOT turn on. Feel very cheated. We recently moved house and the receipt seems to have been misplaced so can't claim or return it!… Read more

Claims to have been tested vigorously, pointless warranty - no warning of what went wrong- just does not turn on. It has only been used once, have never been washed. False claim of durability- all those over 1500 hours of continuous testing must have put it near the end of its life before the gullible consumers pay money to use it

Failed controllers too!!!! – Didn't want to give this even one star but I had to to get this review accepted!! More landfill crap. Don't waste your money on Kambrook - should be called skambrook. Won't waste my hard earned on Kambrook junk again. warm while it worked A complete waste of money due to poor quality, short lived, seemingly irreplaceable controllers.

Don't bother buying this – As with other reviewers on this page - mine worked for nearly a season then one controller stopped working, thought I'd keep at least using the side that does work this year, too bad now that side is gone too. Wouldn't bother with Kambrook ever again, with any product after this experience. Useless.

Faulty controllers – Just outside the 3 Year warranty one controller failed within a couple of weeks the 2nd contoller failed. Snugasabug it may be, but there is no heat, wouldn't buy Kambrook again . Will put the old electric blanket with old reliable slide controllers back on the bed. At least this one wasn't designed to fail after the warranty ran out. Kept the bed warm when it worked Both controllers failed just out of warranty

3 Months, hand control exploded – After 3 months the hand control exploded, sent sparks everywhere and now its burnt out. I can only be thankful that I was awake at the time and it didn't cause a house fire. My mother suggested I buy a Kambrook because it she didn't want me buying a cheap electric blanket knowing that they can be dangerous and that's exactly what I got. On a side… Read more

note the heat settings are way too variable, on setting 2 you may as well not waste the electricity but setting 3 is like a sauna. Also the heating bit is too far down the blanket so you end up lying on a huge lump all night

Snugasabug is rubbish – Had this blanket for 2 years, lost receipt. Both hand controllers have blown. Rang Kambrook and I was told that if it was still in warranty they would help, if not, they wouldn't. Hand controllers failed and after sales service is non existent.

Worst product ever – I bought a queen sized version of this electric blanket. Within the first month the hand controller on one side had failed. Now the hand controller on the other side has failed. It hasn't even made it through the winter season. I'm not surprised by the other reviews. This blanket is worthy of a complaint to consumer affairs and should be withdrawn from sale. Faulty

Failed controllers ! – Yes - same deal as some of the other reviewers. The blanket is not real old (a couple of winters max), and recently one heat control switch failed on one side, then within a month or so, the second one failed. Seems it may not be repairable. Model Number was KB51. Looked good value and supposedly was a reputable brand. Failed after a couple of winters.
